I must say i am dissapointed that so many of you would rate a rider crashing as the best moment of the year. I don't know about you, but i tune in to watch racing and competition, any sort of retirement is a disapointment. To take so much enjoyment from the removal and potential injury of another rider is a horrible thought and not an attitude the sport needs.

Worst moment as mentioned was probably seeing Marco in the catalunya gravel, i felt so sick right then and was truly worried.

Best moment was Hayden taking the title, a truly emotional moment aided by the fantastic sportsmanship of rossi and the contrast of feelings from the previous race.

Best: Hayden winning the championship at Valencia.
Worst: The terrible crash at Catalunya.

BTW: wasn't there another thread like this?

I agree, a crash would never be be highlight for me, except for anoying Jumkie and you ;-).

But as it is tis seems like we not only one but two RBG's on the forum, generating a very low signal/noise ratio in the forum.

My worst moment last year was just like you the crash at catalunya, the best? Every time we saw a close hard fight between the top riders. Like Mugello.

the worst would prob be the crash at catalunya. it really was a
<
moment

the best would be..theres lots to choose from.. tony elias winning somewhere, can't remember where it was. that was a good race.

oh my god yes the BIG crash, i almost forgot! i still cant watch that without cringing. silly sete ... not that he can be blamed for a heat of the moment reaction.

that was a horrible...
<
glad everyone was ok though (by ok i mean still breathing)

Worst moment for me apart from the crash was watching Edwards come off at Assen although the last couple of laps were good. And the crap food at Donington.
Best points apart from Mugello were Donington and Le Mans because I was there at both of them.
So many high points, so many low points, that's why I love Motogp.

Worst moment, on the Thursday of Assen, flicking on the teletext at a mates house & seeing the headline of "ROSSI IN HOSPITAL" as a fan of Ayrton Senna it shook me quite a bit & brought back some bad memories. The worst part being I couldn't get anymore info until the evening.

Best, Donington & finally getting to a race. Especially at that track, where my love of motor racing started in '93.

Ha-ha, but if you get technical, can Rossi's "crash" even be considered a "crash"? I mean, it was more like him sliding out and surfing which "generated a very low noise" on the gravel.

Am honestly appalled that so many people mention crashes as their 'best' moments. Are you all serious? Don't you realise that crashes can and do maim or kill people? What's so fun in that? Where's your spirit of sportsmanship and fair play?

Yes that crash turned my stomach it was truly awful, and could have been so much worse. Thank goodness they are all back in the saddle again cept gibbers but for different reasons.

worst was seeing rossi grind to a halt in france from being so dominant,
