<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I am willing to bet that Vale will be on a one man team if Stoner remains at Ducati which I believe he will. Rossi will have no problem securing sponsorship for his team. It will be an unprecidented thing in GP since it will be a full factory ride without having to do the marlboro thing. Rossi's last hurrah will be the biggest challange if you will or even spectacle for lack of a better term.
Rock if it does happen it wont be Unprecidented like you say. Remember Rossi Nastro Azzuro Honda?
Full Factory bike without being in the Repsol garage. You do have a point though, with Rossi on a seperate 1 bike Factory team. Though this is more likely what will happen cos i dont see Rossi and Stoner on the Marlboro factory bikes. I still see this as a big risk for Rossi hell Vale may come here and teach Stoner how to ride that thing but i doubt anyone in the world at the moment could Extract any more speed outta that Monster then what Casey is getting.
Rossi will get an unprecedented amount of money to come there and would be a nice retirement fund for the rest of his life, but theres the risk of being beaten by Casey on the same bike.
I think Stoner will be world champ next year Casey is riding best as ever plus with the new Engine rule coming, i see this in Casey and Ducati favour cos whenever theres major changes Duc always seems to come out on top of them. So say Stoner wins next year, and Vale was to Retire at the end of next year he would still go out on top, 2 800cc WC each and Rossi will be remembered as the best.
But if he goes to Ducati to finish his career and turns out to be a top 5 rider, he will retire with people saying Stoner was better then him. I beleive Rossi ego wont let that happen, bottom line is Vale is getting old and guyds like Casey and Crazy George will start beating him more regular.
Personlly i think if Casey goes to Honda and gets that team around him, and stop putting there eggs in Pedrobots basket, i think you will see Honda dominate again as the days with Mighty Mick.
And if Casey goes to Honda then id love to see Vale in the Marlboro team would be great.
