I've said it before, if Bradl, Rossi and MM bring the goods and I think they can we may have a 2006 like season where a lot of guys can and will win. Not just two and an injured guy ala last few seasons.

After yesterday I am seriously impressed with MM, silver spoon or not, you still have to ride it and he certainly knows how.

Yeah I honestly didn't think he'd be this fast so soon, he's gonna add some excitement to the season.

My vote for MM champion is looking lonely - wassa matter with my bandwagon ya fuggin cahns

He is matching Pedro and beating The Yamaha's and he will take an enormous dump on Pedro when it comes to hunger and craft in a race, I'm telling you,

MM

Marquez champion in his rookie season would be the best news for MotoGP, and what is needed to keep the interest alive after Stoner's retirement.

He has the potential -- but a real season is long, pitfalls numerous, luck always uncertain.

And, leaving aside being a rookie, the rivals are among the strongest ever, even without Stoner.

MM wont win the title this year.....but he will give it a hell of a go....

The memory of Stoner will fade quickly if Mark can get on podium or win in first 3 races.

I am glad he is as good as we thought on the big bike....but testing is no racing.....

<span style="font-size:14px;I don't doubt for a minute Marquez is going to be up there from the word go. The wee ....... is fast, but I don't see him lifting the title this year. I'm expecting the fast start, break a couple of times, slow down, and build up again towards the end of the season. His racecraft, (even if his tactics have often questionable) has been great, but he's not going up against the other moto2 guys now, and guys like Vale , Cal etc are not going to be intimidated by his style, and he could find himself coming off worse a few times here. Jorge and Dani will cry to race direction about him quite a bit too.

<span style="font-size:14px;The dynamic o the HRC pit is gonna be interesting this year. There is no doubt who the chosen one is now, I might even feel a wee bit sorry for Da, nah, not a hope, but this has to be the year he delivers for HRC or goes to WSBK or midget throwing.

I think he'll get a few wins but wont trouble Lorenzo or Pedrosa in the championship.

+1

the big question other than can pedrosa finally get a whole season right for me is whether rossi can for another time step up his game to beat the competition.

even though marquez looks mighty impressive ,even more than i expected of him so far, i don't think its possible for any rookie to seriously bother especially lorenzo for the title.lorenzos proven he can absolutely safely ride his yamaha about as fast as it can be ridden ,a fearless marquez in his rookie year will inevitably do both: win and crash. the others don't do the crashing part, simple as that.

marquez will win a couple and do great more often than not, but if lorenzo, rossi and pedrosa ride the season as i expect them to ,they will outscore them

edit:not that i wish marquez (or any other rider of course) will fall a lot and possibly even hurt himself,on the contrary. but tbh my hope is that bradls calm and consistent approach might elevate him up to 4th in the championship.

marquez 3-4 wins, 3rd-5th in the championship.

i like the way you put it, if I get to see another rookie year like the one Jlo had I'll be happy for sure. I may have to go rewatch that season now.

Well, this is the one big thing that will make me cheer for the lad.  Anybody who takes a dump on Pedro is a friend of mine.  I don't know if I would go so far as to become a fan in the classic sense, but the day Marcky makes hell for Pedro or gives him an on track ..... slap (un-injured of course, I'm not a savage) then it will go a long way in putting him on a favs list below my name.  You heard it here first.  If Marquez makes life hell on the track for Pedro, makes him .... and frown, I will consider cheering for him, though I dislike Spaniards on general principle, I have been known on rare occasion to cheer and accept a few (ie Elias and Lorenzo).  I hate that Marky was handed everything on a silver plater, much like Pedro and VR, but if he can keep those ........ from every tasting championship success, I'll get my McMarquez t-shirt ordered up.

Yeah, .... you Pedro.   :....:

Truly part of my motivation for starting the Marquez bandwagon, which now has 2 people on it, yourself and The Deal have given conditional (I'll see if its comfortable) support so that's .5 + .5.

Seeing Dani leave without a championship reveals a nasty part of my soul but I won't deny it's existence. I don't like Dani, Valentino and home brewers.
