Honda confirmed the RCV only has a 23L tank. Don't need anymore and can "use the space for other things".

Sorry, confused. Do you mean the production racer?

EDIT: Apologies - just clocked the thread title.

I have no idea what that means but I'm sufficiently terrified.

And so you should be my friend. Being shown the blue goldfish = having you head flushed down the toilet. But as you're a Spurs fan i'm sure you're used to that.lol

Ha, I'm no Spurs supporter. You've got the city, and you're correct in stating that I do love blue.

As he posted earlier on, teams can purchase nissin/brembo/showa/ohlins, as they see fit. That the bike was presented with Nissin/Ohlins hardware just shows one of the options available. If you read the bike news (and previous posts in this very thread) you would be aware of that.

Stop coming across as the hurt, hard-done-by-party. You have done far more than "All i did was ask why" - you have systematically set out to undermine his every post - for whatever reason, I can't fathom.

I, for one, found it interesting and his posts credible. If he has gone for good, you have only yourself to blame - if it was at work or school, it would be called bullying.

There are a few people here who are territorial and feel the need mark their territory any time a smart newcomer shows up. Dominating the conversation is more important than actually learning. They're so insecure that they can't bare to let anyone other than members of "old boys club" be in the spotlight. And whenever one of them is proved to be absolutely wrong, they get out the smelling salts and lay back on their fainting couch because aristocrats are sensitive that way or they pettifog the newcomer to death with abstruse, hairsplitting, irrelevant talking points. It's kind of like hazing in football (American style) teams where newbies are tested to see if they're tough enough for the team. It's not enough to be smart and informed and have a great love for the sport. You have to have the skin of a rhino as well. The loudest and the most aggressive get to run the show and intelligent debate takes a back seat. It's world politics writ small. The Tea Party/Taliban (same thing really) analogy is a good one. Wherever you have a Mao, a Stalin, a Mugabe or an Ayatollah type, there is always the jailing or marginalization of the intellectuals and poets that don't sing the praises of the strongman.

Rant over.

Times change. Well for saints they have and for the better. Enjoy the lower leagues Arrab, at least you get to choose where to sit and can still buy a ticket on match dayhahaha

Bollocks!! City are one of the best and most fervently supported clubs in the league given the size of the catchment area - a fact that you yourself once made. Regarding where to sit..can't stand the ground - they got the blueprints off some ........ called St.Mary's so I'm told.

Anyway, this is nothing but sour grapes Rog - especially since we inadvertently gave you Peter Shilton :....:

I apologise, there are afterall some grounds down your way with at least some degree of character and pedigree...Remember your post on Sunday - no place for haters in sport...

I do, but please keep in mind that often times I watch matches recorded. So please ask if I've been watching before spoiling/.... talking.

A club near and dear to my heart. Still wish we'd have gotten those Madrid tickets a few years ago. (Funnily enough, I still get daily emails from LCFC.)

i think its going to be a looong season for hayden. its only testing, but that doesnt look so good for him.

end of testing Tuesday.

Following Sunday's Valencia MotoGP season finale, an official test session is being held at the circuit from Monday to Wednesday.

The test marks the first appearance for Cal Crutchlow at Ducati, Nicky Hayden at Aspar, Moto2 world champion Pol Espargaro at Tech 3 and former title rival Scott Redding at Gresini.

Redding, Hayden and Hiroshi Aoyama are riding the new Open class Honda Production Racer, with Hayden - who sat out Monday due to limited machine numbers - getting his first ride on the RCV1000R today.

The new privateer Forward Racing Yamaha made its public debut on Tuesday in the hands of Aleix Espargaro and Colin Edwards, when new world champion Marc Marquez and Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa were also back on track after skipping day one.

Marquez led for almost the entire day, lapping under his new official pole record. The 20-year-old - riding with a special helmet design - saved the 2014 RC213V with his knee and elbow after a big lowside moment at turn six, shortly after 1pm.

Like many riders, Marquez made a last push - clocking his best time of the day on the 75th of 76 laps. Yamaha's title runner-up Jorge Lorenzo moved into second, while Pedrosa reclaimed third from LCR's Stefan Bradl.

Valentino Rossi was working with his new crew chief Silvano Galbusera for the first time, while former Aprilia Racing boss Gigi Dall'Igna is present in his new role as general manager of Ducati Corse.

Former Aspar rider Randy de Puniet made his PBM debut on Tuesday, as the British team seeks to reach an agreement with Aprilia for 2014. The test was briefly red flagged due to a late fall for PBM regular Michael Laverty.

The 2014 rules will see the Factory bikes lose a further litre of race fuel relative to the Open machines, raising the difference to four litres. The Open bikes must run the full control ECU system, while the Factory entries can use their own software.

The final day of testing begins at 10am on Wednesday, but some teams - including Yamaha - are expected to pack up this evening.

So proddy racer(Haydens time) 2 secs a lap slower that Factory HRC. I'm sure with time it will get faster but so will the HRC factory bikes i expect. I was rather hoping for more if i'm honest.
