Simps really... JL's achilles heel is mixed conditions. Did we really expect better today?

I've been saying that for a while, but Arrabbi claims I'm full of BS. He goes all the way back to Lorenzo's 125cc days to dig up examples of Lorenzo doing "ok" in the wet or mixed conditions. Lorenzo's confidence on low grip surfaces has been long gone. He doesn't even try anymore.

For once, I agreed with Cal. The media showed great disrespect to the three guys on the podium by not bothering to show up for the post race interview and chasing after MM93 vs VR46, round #143 instead.

J.Lo is done with Ducati. He has stopped trying. I am fairly confident his management is having frantic meetings with Suzuki as we speak. For the sake of the sport, I hope he ends up there because J.Lo on a bike that works his way is phenomenal.

racing is racing, so this happens.

however i dont understand the aggressivity Marc sometimes reflect in free practice.

I always watch them and this weekend was surprised to see him pass Vinales and Rabat quite aggressively during the FPs.

Maybe because he was faster

Suzuki would be foolish to hire JLo...they might end up with another 2017 (or current) Iannone....
Suzuki, I hope, is pushing more for Zarco now....especially after his performance in Argentina....
Why hire a petulant paranoid older 5 time champion when you can hire a 2 time younger hungrier champion for less money?

Andrea... you know what you gotta do right? Make it clean... surgical even. Nothing traces back to me! Got it?

Haha rossi what a total sook. Gives out .... but cant handle it when he comes off due to somebody elses over-exuberance.

Uccio should be kept away from the paddock.

Not only did Marc concentrate a bunch of bad moves into one race weekend, he has already racked up an equal share of questionable moves throughout his much shorter career. At the very least he should be starting at the back of the grid at COTA. Some will think that wont matter and he'll win anyway, but he'll have to demonstrate the ability to pass the grid without knocking other riders off.

If you want to compare and contrast, at least MM doesn't whine to all and sundry and pretty much has the same attitude whether he is in the wrong or the wronged party. If a rider is going to say "that's racing" in one circumstance then surely that applies to the reverse circumstance as well.

Let Iannone torpedo him 3-4 times in practice and in race and see how long he will say "This is racing".

You don’t get “Nice” minutes after something like that happened. People more knowledgeable about the incident have already remarked that this was not the time and place for Marquez to do that. He didn’t look sincere anyway, Puig was standing next to him with fumes coming out of his ears like a head master dragging his student to make him apologize.

I am a fan of Marquez when he races fairly, this just wasn’t one of those days. One incident can be overseen as a racing incident, but this whole weekend was full of such moves from him, not to mention the almost torpedoing of Dovi and Zarco in Qatar.

Any attempt to try and justify this behavior is what pathetic is.

i called marc out over that turn one incident and commented something on the line of Marc under pressure is returning back to a dangerous rider.

This race justifies my sentiment.

Marc was a ....... .... today. Should have been black flagged.

A huge difference here is that when Rossi is faced with someone on the inside of him he refuses to stand the bike up. When similar incidents happen to other riders, many of which Rossi has been the rider who has aggressively taken the inside the other rider stands it up to avoid contact. Rossi continue to turn in as usual, Marquez is still in the wrong but other riders in the past have gone to effort to make sure there is no contact.

Here's my thoughts as if anyone cares:

1. Another exciting, interesting race this year.
2. Mad Marc is back which is entertaining but a wee bit dangerous. It will be a one-off for sure and he will calm down by the time we get to Texas.
3. Rossi is really past it and I say that as a Rossi Fan. 5th or 6th place is probably where he will finish most races. The odd podium perhaps but it's time to retire.
4. Rossi should never have used the word "scared". It's weak. Maybe it's because he's Italian and he couldn't find the right word.
5. Jack Miller was treated unfairly. There needs to be some tweak of a rule to not allow this to happen again. A cut off point for when a bike can no longer be taken off the grid.
6. It would be nice if there was less homophobia on this forum. Racism wouldn't be tolerated. Some of us might visit and post more. It's the 21st Century for god's sake.

I agree on all except point number 4.

Now don't get me wrong his english is ...., but Rossi INTENTIONALLY used the word scared. He wants his message to be "Dorna is not protecting us riders" so that Dorna will feel like they have to do something and so that his crusade against Marquez will be looking more noble, as he will make it appear "in the name of safety of all riders".

When stuff like that was happening with Simoncelli (R.I.P.) Rossi was always stating that Motogp isn't ballet in order to support him and go against his rivals with the media. Because "disisrèsing", right?
Coherence, this unknown thing....

I think Marquez who sure is reckless is at least more coherent than Rossi: he simply doesn't give a slice of a .... about anyone and behaves accordingly.

IMHO, of course.

If the roles were reversed, everyone here would be crying for Rossi’s head on a platter now.

Had MM crashed into Maverick instead of Rossi, the boppers would have applauded, Jarvis would have most likely accepted the apology and Viñales would have accepted the situation even if frustrated. To me is clear that it’s not Marc the one destroying the sport.
