Haha. Well I tried to wriggle out before horde of haters pounce and brainwash me into accepting their point, where's the individuality then. And frankly I cannot carry on a tirade of profanities just to prove my point. Some of the guys here have some stamina to keep on hammering till victory

Too late. :(

Jumkie...if you have the time and patience then you may want to go through my posts. I still do not have an opinion on the entire Sepang incident.

Yeah, I see you have no opinion about Sepang...

I am not totally sold on his idea of the way he [Rossi] handled MM in Sepang. He [Rossi] could have been more subtle and ...... that ....... son of a ...... This is what I believe gives power to lots of losers here to claim that he has been an unworthy rider all the way.

Uhm...why would Rossi need to "...." up Marquez? Does Rossi also need to "...." up Ianonne and Pedrosa? What is Marc guilty of that you formulated needs him to be "......" by Rossi?

Oh ...., I guess you do have an opinion. Is this what you call butchery? Having to examine your beliefs and logic being hacked pieces?

You're the one who posted Rossi’s "lap of honor" (according to Dorna) and you re-labelled it "Gracious in defeat". Yet you just saw the article that Rossi and Lorenzo haven't talked. You don't think the 'gracious' thing to do is offer congratulations to the winner? Explain why Rossi hasn't talked to Lorenzo at very least to be gracious? Even if Rossi (and you) 'believe' Marquez was responsible for robbing Rossi, how is this Lorenzo’s fault?

Oh shut Mr. Stupid is here. Sorry but I don't want to get down to your level

Says the guy who thinks Rossi should have done something, but should have tried to be a tad more subtle because of a "....... son of a .....".

Interesting logic.

So maybe, next time, instead of doing it himself, Rossi should have Uccio up on the grassy knoll at Sepang with a rifle so it's a tad more subtle.

You missed the quotes there lad. And it was sarcasm. Of course on popular public view which includes a lot of Rossi haters here, he was ungracious.
And I surmised that that's the only view a new guy who has not been lurking around here for months before posting anything would get. Which is a subjective opinion of a select few. This guy will just swirl down the vortex of caustic words and one sided view like a lump of constipated dump on a wet morning...does that make any sense to you?

Or he can put the rifle in his arse and shoot which will dampen the noise.. that probably will be more subtle. Entirely their choice.
Good ideas though man! Better stuff.

Oh that's right, you were joking. Buddy, it does take a certain level of skin thickness to argue a point. But it seems only fair that if you're gonna present your opinion of a highly charged incident that you'd also accept it's going to be challenged. This challenge may feel unpleasant, but don't take it to heart then. What you wrote here, I understand your sentiments, I suppose I would feel very comfortable on a forum where everyone agrees with me. That wouldn't make my opinions right though. So stick around buddy, let your opinions be challenged. How do you feel about Lorenzo not getting any words of congratulations by Rossi...yet? :)

The same as him showing thumbs down to Rossi in Sepang. It's just two people who sometimes can't hold back their raw emotions...good or bad. If you ask me at that level and MotoGP being an extreme sport, this is small.
If you happen to know what cricket is, a parallel I can draw is saving single runs in a 5 day test match and being aggressive about it. Not much of a thing to talk about.
This is actually better for sport. I want to see that wall in Yamaha garage and see who gets proven right. Lorenzo or Rossi. Doesn't that sound interesting..small cracks on a fine mirror

Thumbs down gesture is not similar to deliberately taking out a fellow competitor on a hot track. Its about as similar as throwing up gang signs and a drive by shooting.

Sounds like you're downplaying the seriousness of Rossi's actions and not laying the blame solely on his dastardly actions. You're name wouldn't happen to be Matt Oxley? I see he has written another attempt at apologizing and deflection of the fact the "poisonous end to the 2015 season" has only one person to blame: Valentino Rossi.

I have no idea about cricket.

Ah but the reward can be so good.

Years ago (like, when I could play the game), was sub fielder in first grade and dived to save a boundary which I managed to do, but the buggers ran 3.

Day goes on, we roll them in their first dig, throw them back in (we had made 300 odd), rolled them again and won by an innings and 1 run.

That saved run sure did come in handy as at years end, the outright win and points got us into the semi's , from where we f*cked up lol

Agree. It's just two pissy contestants giving hand gestures. Tho to be fair, if Rossi were a proper sportsman - he would "jump over the net" and shake Lorenzo's hand and say "Job well done".

If Rossi could claim to have a beef, it wouldn't be with Lorenzo who is guilty of nothing but riding his ... off all year. So in that sense, he really has compounded his being perceived as a sulking jerk. But fierce competitors have historically hated each other, ala Rainey and Schwantz. It's just human nature.

Jumkie...if you have the time and patience then you may want to go through my posts. I still do not have an opinion on the entire Sepang incident. While you call it a night and day situation that Rossi was wrong, I do not have a clear answer on that. What went into his mind who know? At such a point in career what he did just that justify, I don't know. Coz I was not the one riding that M1. I was not the one on RCV who was fighting for his position or playing tactics? We get limited viewing angles in which ever version of the race we watch it. So I do not have an opinion on that.
Am actually more keen and looking forward to the next season.
iT IS NIGHT AND DAY. No matter what was going on inside Rossi's head, there is no justification for what he did.

How can Rossi possible shake hands wit Jorge after his hate and vitriol filled comments at the post Sepang press conference? Go back and listen to his comments and look at the anger in his face. Then look at how Dani handled the same questions, with complete class and perhaps this is why Valentino shook hands and saluted Dani on the cool down lap.

Are you dense or something? You've been following from the 70's, gramps? OK, please teach me if you ever seen a more dangerous rider than Marc Marquez since I have been following only since mid-late90's.

Valentino Rossi is currently the most dangerous rider in MotoGP. He will deliberately take out another rider and cause him to crash based on his perception of the other rider. Its like a ticking time bomb, who can predict the next time he will kick out a rider. You certainly didn't predict he would, everyone was surprised. (For all the dangerous riding of Marquez, i don't recall his actions being 'deliberate'.)

The same way Stoner SHOULD have shaken Rossi's hand after Laguna 2008 - it is called graciousness in defeat and is also known as 'being a good sport'.

Failure to shake hands or acknowledge after a sporting event, no matter the circumstances or consequences reflects on the person who fails to make the effort, and it reflects poorly.

MM is yet to take another rider out or make them fall in his MGP career (from memory) so here goes.

Simoncelli - well documented
Barbera - as above
Bautista - crashed took many riders out over time
Rudroff (well before your time) - slow, like really slow and would meander on or off the racing line
Chili - was a bit of a rat at times

There are more ..............

MM is and has been quite safe in his MGP tenure by comparison to many other riders, so please do keep digging.

Oh, and before you start, VR has also been relatively safe during his MGP tenure, particularly when you look at it as a 'per race' basis but like others, he has had his moments (although from the top of the head, I believe that MM may be the first rider that VR has caused to crash as opposed to just running them wide etc as he did with Gibbers, Lorenzo and CS amongst others)

A. Not qualified to answer. I did not see that conference. Link?

B. Marquez was really out of control in Moto2 and has been reckless in the premier class - tho he's never taken anyone out in a calculated fashion the way Rossi did.

I don't agree with the hyperbolic statement about Rossi being the most dangerous rider. He's ridden dirty but never injured anyone and while anything is "possible" I never thought for a second that MM would be injured when Rossi took him down. The kid has been down so many times and with one notable exception, always walked away with negligible injuries; tho that in no way makes Rossi less culpable.

Lets not forget the guy in the "fruity rainbow helmet". :p

I don't care whether Rossi is gracious or not, but the OP seemed to be contending that Rossi was gracious in defeat, which he was very far from being imo, starting well in advance of the actual defeat.

I suspect what Jorge hated was the points lead in the championship Rossi maintained by illegal means.

MM has definitely been a dangerous rider, cf as always the Willairot incident, but didn't ride dangerously in the second half of the most recent season and may be tempering his approach. I agree with others that he has not ridden deliberately dangerously but don't consider that to count for much.

Lets not forget the guy in the "fruity rainbow helmet". :p

He is one of a number I reckon could well be called 'dangerous' and did not mention , particularly given that the meaning of dangerous seems to change so greatly depending on the poster.

That said, I do genuinely think that there are very few truly dangerous riders that have been through the sport in the 30 or so years I have been watching (dangerous to themselves and others)

Hell, if the way MM rode at Sepang is/was dangerous, then VR himself has done that many times (Seca 2008 - and no, not the corkscrew) and yet it has been called sensational racing but then, I guess perceptions change with time ;)

Marquez opened the throttle and rammed into him. Get a pair of glasses.

Why should he be a fake and shake his hand? That guy said miserable things about him about something that happened with another rider, it did not involve him. Those comments and attitude was unacceptable. There is zero reason to shake his hand until he apologizes. Then you and your ilk will post how Rossi is a 'fake' and the smiles are 'fake' and the sportsman is 'fake'...Spare me the ........ man

You are joking? This is off the top of my head, I am sure there are more.

'15 Assen/Argentina vs Rossi absolute and 100% deliberate contact

'13 Aragon - Pedrosa
'13 Jerez -Lorenzo, (used him as a brake)

Moto2 Luthi @ Qtatar

Moto2 Corsi at Valencia

There were incidents also with Espargaro, Kalio and of course that near murder of Willarot from Moto2 can not remember the events

This is from a guy who has barely started his career.

Anything else?
