It was so funny and one great memory. Remember me taking to cox's misses down his mobile phone while parish was laughing and shouting out "dont talk to them, they were calling you a ......" hahaha

Spiffing bit of banter had by all that day old boy

I think honda may have sorted the chatter and the tyres with the new chassis, stoner and pedrosa were consistently fast in the one dry practice, with jorge only approaching them on the odd lap. They couldn't ride the new hard tyre at all with the old chassis due to chatter.

In the post qualifying press conference Stoner clearly indicated that the new chassis was binned immediately as it was worse than the current one.

You do realise that the order was Hayden Barbara Rossi when Hayden dropped back. You're showing the calibre of person you are by immediately assuming Rossi was to blame. I don't know any boppers that jump to the same conclusion re stoner. Smart people wait till they see the footage. You just blurt something out for which you have absolutely zero support. Why don't you comment on what you saw instead of what you think you missed when the minimal evidence suggests that your most hated rider (who still thrashed your favourite today, in the dry and on a Ducati) had nothing to do with it.

So you know without doubt that that was the order? What coverage were you watching because the last time the official telecast showed the group would have been several laps earlier. After Hayden lost 5 places in short succession it was Rossi in front of Barbera.

Now it appears to me that you are blurting out something that you have absolutely zero support for because there is no footage and there is no comment. So I may be right or I maybe wrong but so are you.

Now what does this say about the calibre of person you are. No comment about anything else about the race but just an attack on me because it is me. Further to the evaluation of your personal calibre if you think that Rossi "thrashed" Stoner in the race it sort of highlights how depressed you are about your beloved's season. Stoner lead and challenged for the lead the whole race. Your beloved fought with the back of the satellite pack.

Stoner is saying that the marshal's have 'yet again cost him another decent result in Germany'......WTF!!!

This guy really is a tosser, when did the German marshal's last cost him a decent result? Maybe they got out on the apex and poured some Bittburger, just after Dani went through.......

Casey, why don't you just admit that your ambition outweighed your talent as you folded under pressure, and your teammate was the better rider on the day. Nothing to do with the Volunteer Marshal's who were busy trying to excavate your Honda which was half-way in the gravel trap of one of the most dangerous bends in Motogp........don't let the door hit you on the way out

Does it hurt that he crashed? Get the box of Kleenex. His ambition outweighed his talent but clearly not Pedrosa's. Shown up by his teammate.

Don't let the door hit you in the back when you stop watching next year because your beloved Casey Awesome Second Best Speed King Stoner has retired.

Not sure which commentators you get to listen to on your particular broadcast - but none of those I've encountered are former MotoGP champions. They may be privy to all the latest back of the paddock tittle-tattle - but beyond that, they're essentially paid arm-chair experts. No crying here. Calm as calm can be. Seems it's you who's getting all worked up. I know my years of humble club racing don't give me total insight into the minds of championship racing - but I'll wager it against that of a guy whose never ridden competitively in his life - bar stools don't count Rog.

I think you will find that Steve Parrish had a sightly more successful career than you managed Kesh!

Only fair to point out that I was drawing a contrast between Rog and me - not Steve Parrish and me.

In any event even the esteemed Mr. Parrish can only hazard an educated, eyeball guesstimate to precisely what angle Stoner was achieving at the moment he went down. Somehow Rog has rationalized that Stoner apparently over-rode the tires on the final lap - whereas he was not doing so whilst achieving the same angle on all previous laps. We've all seen Rossi, Lorenzo and Stoner pull of the seemingly impossible last lap move and been suitably wowed. This time it didn't pan out - but rather than thinking, "Wow that was a gutsy try." the haters gratuitously mock him. Nothing new here. The same old double standard applied to Stoner because he doesn't fit your frat boy profile for manly men.

Firstly i only quoted what parish had said, secondly you don't really know me after one brief meeting so don't assume my life history buddy.

Nicky Hayden:

"“I’m really frustrated to have been in a big battle like that, only to arrive at the end of it. For the most part, I felt just as fast as the other riders in the group and even faster in places, until about the last five laps. Then I think I was hurt by the combination of the tyre going off and me trying too hard at the end. I really started to spin and lost the rear a couple times on entry. To arrive tenth, when fifth was just over a second in front, is hard for a racer to take. I can’t be too happy with that one, but we’ll get another shot in a week at Mugello.”

Having a chuckle at the Rossi fans sinking the boots in this weekend. Good stuff. Even Adriana got a mention.

Not many race fans care too much about that, but the British F!? come on mate.

Last entry in the F1 forum on here (which I didn't realise was still going) was in April. What, you were going to watch the british F1 grand prix next week, along with the Wimbledon final, and make sure you didn't hear the result of either (in the UK, where I gather you reside)? I had actually forgotten the moto3 race followed the motogp race, and didn't give the result of the F1 race anyway.

Btw, are you going to call anyone a neobopper or a hater again in a thread where you and your cohorts are rejoicing that someone crashed trying to win a race on the last lap rather than settling for a safe second (something the guy who won the race has been trenchantly criticised on here for not doing in the past), as keshav, someone entirely more familiar with the concepts of both irony and logical argument than you are, has said?

It's not about being a Rossi fan, if you read the whole posts you will see that. It's just most folk think stoner is a moanin wee fanny who was greeting today about the marshalls after he ...... up trying to keep up wi his team mate.

His ambition outweighed his talent. That is karma.

Try saying that with a straight face. All the posters sticking the boots in have the same favourite rider.

I thought you were on a moral and intellectual plane above the "haters".

It is actually not too bad a result in terms of stoner's championship, given that either honda's new chassis and/or dani and he would appear to have at least partly sorted the chatter issue (which doesn't have as a corollary that the new tyre is any good) and both were actually faster than jorge on the hard tyre which they couldn't ride at all as recently as last week. If stoner did crash entirely due to a lean angle unfeasible on the new tyres (which is possible, given his similar warm-up crash in the sunshine as has been said) with no influence from any raindrops or bumps then he has now explored the limits of the bike on that tyre, and if he keeps having high lean angle crashes you guys can justly take him to task.

It also removes the option of stoner non-haters moaning (as is your wont) about him if he wins the championship by less than 30 points.

Sorry pal, I admire and follow Jorge and Cal as much as I follow Rossi and just like I followed Doohan Cadalora and MacKenzie. I also enjoy watching boners squirm when their boy ..... up, it's all a bit o fun and they will all be gone when stoner goes back to the bush. Stoner has a history of chucking it under pressure, an today was no different. As has been said, close the door behind you casey

It's not you, it's all the dumb .... you say.

When I found out that persecution complex was a real thing I immediately thought of CS and his fans

A persecution complex is a term given to an array of psychologically complex behaviours, that specifically deals with the perception of being persecuted, for various possible reasons, imagined or real.

The next part is spot on

These social units form a kind of tribe united against the world by an ideology or an idea. This is evident in religious groups, but the behavior can be seen in any group that places group cohesion above the need to critically evaluate its claims.

You bring it on yourselves.

I mean so far we've had that Rossi is disgraceful for finishing 6th & that he caused Hayden to slip down to 10th. Both pure retaliation.

Pedro did the fastest lap of the race and the whole weekend on the final lap! This looks to have forced the crash, as Pedro was even pulling away through the corner while Stoner was sliding on his .... Although bad for Stoner, the result was good for the championship. Pedro will get a factory Honda contract now for sure. I hope Pedro gets the title this year if Stoner doesnt win it.

The marshalls cant push Stoner on such a dangerous corner at the bottom of the straight, another rider could plow in there and then what, body parts everywhere. What was he thinking? Anyway get over it and try an Arnie one liner "I'll be back".

Let the mob crow for a while, its been a hard 1 & 1/2 years for them with no crashes to celebrate.
