Hi Jane... My wife and I will be going to Sepang for our 4th year. We'd be happy to help with anything we can. We are pretty savvy on accommodations if you need help... although we live in Thailand, not Malaysia. Would love to meet you for the feastivities in KL and Sepang... BTW we have a friend who may well be coming from Manila for Sepang as well, although he has yet to commit...

wow, yey, a Sepang forum meet up!

where will you be staying? i haven't booked the accoms. i haven't bought tickets but my plan is to stay at the main grandstands friday and saturday, then head to K1 by sunday. though, a friend told me that i could go practically anywhere in the circuit even if i just have a main grandstand ticket. but, well, i don't wanna risk it. haha. do you happen to know if this is true?

my friend and i would love to meet up with you guys

Well i'm heading to Brno and Misano this year. Anyone else heading that way? Got everything for the Brno trip sorted but i have no idea about San Marino, ie good tickets to get and where to stay.
Can anyone recommend accommodation? I'll be in Europe for a few months around July - September on my own thanks to the government cash payments and tax refunds from our stupid Prime Minister here in Australia.. I'll go support some other country's economy...

Hubby and I are going to the Estoril round of MotoGP for our 10th wedding anniversary - flights and hotel are all booked and we're well excited

Trouble is, we can't find any info about good places to watch from - has anyone on here been there before and can recommend somewhere good? We thought grandstand C at the end of the start finish straight looked good but that's sold out, so maybe grandstand E round the back of the circuit? Not sure if there's a TV screen there though + can't find anything to say where they are....

Any ideas / info very gratefully accepted!

I know I've met a few folk on & off at Donny over the years, but how about a proper meet-up? Camp & booze together? Make it a proper forum outing, though I doubt it would be Rog & Jumkies Excellent adventure!

Remember - this could be our last chance to see motoGP at donny for a fair few years now, cant see things changing in the future!

Happy to pick people up on way from Lancashire.

I can't make the friday as I'm coaching all day but I'll be over in the evening not sure if I'm tenting it though don't fancy been by myself. Willing to pick people en route from Boston (uk!) through grantham or Lincoln - nottingham and then on.

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me. I am looking to get tickets to one of the following up coming races

- Sachsenring, Germany July 19th
- Donington Park, UK July 26th
- Estoril, Portugal October 4th

This is a present for someone and I was told this is the best place to ask as you guy's know your stuff. I was hoping someone could tell me which race would be the best one to go and see??

I have been looking at some of the tracks and Sachsenring looks really good. The only thing is it is quite hard to get flights from Ireland.

Any feed back at all would be really appreciated, thanks a mill!!

Why these? Donnington will be wet. Estoril is a crap circuit - hopefully Portimao will have it ASAP. Sachsenring is ok a circuit, but there are so many better tracks in Europe. I have no idea about tickets but surely Mugello, Misano, Assen, Brno or any Spanish race race would be a better proposition.
Anyway, what am I saying? Bikes are generally good everywhere.

son i'm sure the dates are driving force behind these selections. i personaly would coose sachsenring. as son said it'll probably rain at donny & have been told the place is a nightmare to get in & out of. don't listen to son about estoril there have been some great races there. 06 comes to mind. marijke can answer your questions about sachsenring. shes been ther before although i think she did not like the crowds. send her a pm.
