I'm in.
It's been WAY too long since I've been to a race, and Jumie has promised me a few free brewskies.
I'll be driving up from Az, and will likely do the primitive camping thing in the nearby Stansbury Mountains Wilderness area. http://www.blm.gov/ut/st/en/fo/salt_lake/b..._mountains.html

I should have several gallons of homebrew available. If I can manage to park within the gates, we can sneak back to the car for a top-off. They frown on bringing off-track alcohol to the races, so you guys will need to provide a Coors bottle or some other local container that won't arouse suspicion. (I won't ask you to actually drink the Coors, that would be inhumane.)

I dunnow, dude. The airport is about 30 miles away.
Unless you've packed your bags with (good) beer, you'd better plan to hop on the bus....Gus.

Outstanding brotha. It will be epic. Hey, last year I took in three bottle of Don Julio Tequilla. One for Friday, one for Saturday, and one for Sunday. No problem, if its anything like last year, this place is the most fan friendly venue I've ever been to.

BTW, you can get a space at the track for camping for rather cheap. Just ask for the "car" spaces in duck bill NOT the RV spots. Last year they were 50 bucks.

whos going to donny this year? i was considering going to watch my first gp race, i noticed tickets went on sale today... i wanted to go to assen but cant fly

<span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%<div align='center'>SACHSENRING 2009

hi thinking of making the trip to sachsenring this summer after graduating uni just me my TRX 850 and from what i gather around 800km of open road.

just wondering if any one could offer any tips on where to watch the race where to stay and anything worth stopping and seeing along the way.

Nurbergring is on the cards as i think it would be rude not to do a lap or 2 whilst in the contry

cheers

Erm, i was thinking about this trip a little while ago, Marijke went a while back so contact her for information. She didn't exactly rave about her experience there, but thats understandable considering it's a GP thats on the up in terms of popularity and her trip wasn't too recent, plus Assn is her local so she's probably tough to impress. If you do go make sure you find the route of the original road circuit and ride around that, it should be a pretty fun history lesson (although i'm unsure how much of the original circuit remains). The ring is definitely unmissable too, so it sounds like a pretty fun trip. Good luck

<span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%<div align='center'>Donnington 2009

I know I've met a few folk on & off at Donny over the years, but how about a proper meet-up? Camp & booze together? Make it a proper forum outing, though I doubt it would be Rog & Jumkies Excellent adventure!

Remember - this could be our last chance to see motoGP at donny for a fair few years now, cant see things changing in the future!

Happy to pick people up on way from Lancashire.

haha, i would actually ask for accoms as i need reviews and tips on accoms in malaysia. the ones i've lookep up seems pretty good but what do i know? i think the really budget friendly ones do not have website of sorts. I would also have requested to whoever will help me that I needed someone to pick up the tickets since they don't ship it but I already solved that problem so it's really the accoms that i'm worrying about...and some stuff later on, haha. know that it'll only be my second trip to sepang this year so i'm only relying to my 2007 memory of trips/accoms/food/tricks etc for me and my friend to survive.

Got my Laguna tickets sorted for this year. Will be doing Donny and Brno as well.
If anyone fancies a cheap European trip, Brno is class. Great circuit, cheap beer and 150,000 nutters on race day
