first of all, i would like to thank star sports for showing us a free practice coverage FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! i really really appreciate it

secondly, WOW! that's all i could say. sucks that my friends backed out. we would have been there to watch the race.

thirdly, i was hoping they'd lower the prices for next year, but seeing that it has been a success, they might increase it, poor me

Well at least Massa took pole, though I think he is quite light, if there's a SC in his first stint, he's so screwed, let's hope it doesn´t happen

Massa is not lighter than Hamilton, in first attempt in Q3 they did about the same time, some 0.1s difference. Since they can't change fuel load between their attempts, there is not much difference, and if it had, the 1st try times would not be so near. In 2nd try, Hamilton used hard tires, the one Mclaren struggles in this track and it seems Hamilton commit some mistakes too.

I think race tomorrow will be decided in the start. If Massa manages to keep in front, so, he will be the winner if Ferrari's engine doesn't blow up. If Hamilton manage to overtake him as soon as in the start, so, Hamilton will be the winner.

Both are lapping very near, Hamilton and Massa are driving in the same level.

Yeah, you can say that again! Poor FA! I wanted him to qualify in the top 5 or so. He could do it I'm sure. Hopefully he'll have a strong strategy, but not sure that will be enough. Maybe if he can overtake some people at the start (if that's possible).

Massa has been doing a great job almost all weekend so far. I already thought he would take pole, I'm happy he did. Too bad Kimi made a mistake, or else it would have been a 1-2 for Ferrari. I hope he's a bit heavy, but I'm not too sure he is. He also said he thought the softer tyres were better, but they weren't sure, so they went for the harder ones. Don't think it really mattered. Hopefully he'll have a good race tomorrow, after 3 races with NO points, I hope he can at least finish in the top 3!!! I'm not sure who will win tomorrow, but if I had to pick one atm, I'd go for Felipe!!

Bring on the race!!!!!

Expect a thrilling race tomorrow. Difficult to overtake, but we will see who are the real champion .

I really hope so!!
The last thing I want is another boring race, like Valencia!

IMO, the real champion will only be known after Brazil round, the last one. Hope Massa can win the tittle here, it would be great!

Well, I don't think any of the drivers will secure the title before Brazil to be honest. It will be a close fight till the very last race!! So..if Felipe will win the title, it will probably be in front of his home fans, that would be AMAZING!!!!

TOMA TOMA TOMA!!!!

Alonso is the besT!!!!!
<

What a change of luck from Saturday to today!!
Ferrari kinda deserve this for staying with their useless drivers. They suck.

Only drawback is LH will win the championship.

Ferrari again...

What stupid semaphore method they adopted.

And then Italian press make stupid statements about Massa. It would be better they evaluate their team first, the worst team workforce in F1. Each pit stop is a new emotion.

I'll get chocked if Ferrari wins the tittle this year.

Go Hamilton, the trophy is all yours.

Nice to see Alonso on top again, he deserves. I'm hoping Renault can build a competitive car next year.

It wasn't Massa's fault what happened in the pit stop but after he was crap he went wide, he crashed into a soft wall ... it was a bit like Silverstone, once something goes bad he loses the concentration and starts doing mistakes.

What a race! Well, it sure as hell wasn't boring
<

First of all, many congratulations to FERNANDO ALONSO!!!!!! (and his fans of course!)
IMO, FA is STILL the best driver on the grid, NOT LEWIS, and CERTAINY NOT Raikkonen
<

Maybe some people will say FA was a bit lucky because of the timing of the SC, but that's racing. He really did a great job, and he's without any doubt the deserved winner of the race!!
<

Massa...oh...I feel sorry for the guy, I really do, because it was NOT his mistake AT ALL!!! Now he's 7 points behind, I hope he can close the gap, I really do!
Raikkonen, damn, what the hell was he thinking??
<

I can't believe it, he did a very good job all race! Ok, maybe the first few laps he lost out, but what did we expect really..?? We know it takes him some time to get the tyres working properly, when it was going his way, he was setting FL after FL, but who cares now?? He did a good job driving 5th after coming from place 17th (after the first pitstop), but it doesn't matter..since he screwed up with only a few laps to go. Shame on him!!!! McLaren is now leading the WCC, I hope Ferrari can strike back..but to be honest I don't even care, they also keep screwing up!

Lewis did a good job finishing on the podium, he now gained 6 points in the WDC. I think, if he just keeps his head cool, he will win the title. But this is racing..anything can happen.

He crashed because he was pushing beyond the limits trying to make up the problem. It has nothing with losing concentration, at least in that case.

Ferrari this year gave both Haikkonen and Massa a mile sausage inside their ...... They have any reason to criticize their drivers now, like in the beginning of the year - and I'm not telling they are doing this, but, anyway, let's hope Italian press get lighter with both drivers next year.

Massa committed 2 or 3 major mistakes the whole year;
Haikkonen committed 4 major mistakes;
Ferrari committed 200 billion mistakes in 10 races.

I don't think is Massa who is losing the concentration. Before bringing Alonso, it would be better bringing a new box team manager. Semaphore, lol... what kind of human will respect lights flashing around with adrenaline in 101%? what stupid idea.

I knowwww!!! What a stupid system! They can really blame themselves for Massa not scoring any points. Kimi on the other hand screwed up himself. So they can blame him for that, but in the end, blaming people won't win them the title. They need to strike back next race, if they want to win noth titles, or at least one title!

Ferrari now will need to put both cars ahead of Hamilton, each 3 races. Next 3 races will suit Ferrari more than Mc's and here in Brazil I'm sure Felipe can dominate, but Kimmi has to help now!

Yeah, because LH doesn't need to win a race. Now it's OBVIOUS (actually it was already obvious) that Kimi doesn't stand a chance to win. He will help IF he is in the position to do so. It's not like he won't do it, or drive bad to just make sure Massa doesn't win. He knows his job now, making sure Ferrari wins both titles!! He needs to score some points first though..this was his 4th race in a row without scoring any points. Sad.

The australian TV commentators were blaming ferrari's pit and other disasters this year on the departure of jean todt; I believe rather that it is a delayed consequence of michael schumacher's retirement. I think he obviously with help from ross brawn was the one who built the whole ferrari thing in their recent era of success; dour german by public repute or not, his team including the pit crew appeared to love him madly, and he always thanked them profusely and immediately after his many triumphs.

Massa don't deserve to be a champion, he is too mentally weak. Yes, ferrari made a mistake in the pitstops... but still Massa put himself into the wall, cut chicanes, got passed, etc.. He does not have a strong mind, he always panick and make mistakes when something goes wrong.

I don't like Hamilton at all. Look at that arrogant guy getting all jealous because Fernando Alonso won the race, when he should of been happy with his 3rd place considering Massa wasn't able to score any points.

And Kimi Raikonen?? The guy deserve to crash into the wall for being such a ........ to people.

Good job by Nico Rosberg, he was the star of the race. Too bad the yellow caught him out forcing him a 10 second penalty or else he would of won.

Alonso.... good solid race. Was lucky because of the yellow flag, but still drove a very good race.

1. I'm not saying Massa is the best out there, because I rate Alonso and Lewis higher than him. Kimi's perfomance this season is really pathetic, but overall I still think Kimi is a better driver, but...he's 4th in the standings
<

If Massa wins the title this season, he WILL deserve it. He's actually been doing a very good job this season. Ok, maybe he's not super strong when things don't go his way, but today was not his fault, and I actually feel a bit sorry for him. He should have been leading the WDC by now. He would have won in Hungary, and today he would have finished on the podium for sure, but if's dont count..I know!

2. I guess it's normal you have your likes and dislikes, but Lewis is just extremely talented, that's more than obvious! I can understand people don't like his arrogance/overconfidence at times, but at least he's not boring. He brings excitement to the game and I can appreciate that! Now he has a 7 point lead, and if he keeps his head cool, he will end up winning the title this season.

3. I'm sorry, but how well do you know Kimi to make that claim?? You don't have to come up with your examples of him pushing a marshal or him knocking over a kid (and he didn't even do that!). I think it's quite pathetic to come up with a statement like that. Those things are no reason for him to crash into a wall. Kimi needs to keep his head together, he would have finished in the top 5, and that would have been a good result actually, if you look at where he came from (17th after the first pitstop).
Anyway, it's obvious you don't like Raikkonen, so you must be extremely happy he's not doing well lately.
<

4. Nico did a great job today. I hope to see him in a better car in the up coming years. I think he could become one of the top guns in the future, with Vettel and Kubica.

5. Yeah, he was lucky for sure, but like you said, he drove a good race. He made no mistakes, and therefore he was the deserved winner of the race.

what a race!

first, congrats to fernando! i was really feeling sorry for him after the quali, and hearing him in his interviews. it was a terrific win!
<

second, stupid ferrari crew! and lemme say that again, stupid ferrari crew! i know it was a technical failure that changed the lights to green when the fuel nozzle hadn't been removed from the car. i get that point. but c'mon people, didn't even one of you realized that massa would have probably stopped somewhere along the pits and would need YOU to get the hose out?!?! do you really believe that massa would dare go into the racing circuit with that thing in tow?!?! seeing you stand right there after re-fuelling kimi, and being shocked (and alas! running to massa) that massa is still there caught me in utter amazement. there was only one team who beats you in your utter stupidity, and they were having a tea when one of their cars came in.

third, kimi wasted my time. i should have gone to bed real early. i am not really angry or what at him. i can understand why he's like that. i have seen that kind of kimi for years. and yes, you may go and do what you like just to finish the 08 season. start anew by 09. we can't do anything about it. i just wish i used my time for something better.

On to the next race!
