Well done to Kubica and BMW it was only a matter of time..Coulthard as well which will probably be his last podium before he retires.

What was Hamilton thinking in the pitlane? he was way to aggressive.

Arrrrrgh!!!! I'm so pissed with this race!!! Anyway congrats to Kubica.

Hamilton's run for 15 consecutive podiums was stopped at number 3
<
I'm SOO sad!!! And it's not looking that good for the next race either with the 10 pos penalty hehe

I'm happy for Kubica, nice guy, working hard and deserved it.

I bet Coultard didn't expect podium.

Loved that Massa's double pass.

Hamilton WTF

LOL!

You must have been really happy to see Hamilton make that mistake. Too bad Alonso didn't finish, or else your day would have been fantastic I'm sure
<

Anyway, it was definitely not a boring race. I'm really happy for BMW. They deserved to win yesterday. Not a shock that Kubica is the winner though. I think they were on different strategies, but Robert has been the better of the two so far, so he definitely deserved it!!!

I'm sure Ferrari and McLaren want to forget about this race asap! Well, Massa did show some nice stuff, and at least he DID score some points. I'm a bit disappointed about Kimi's result. I think he could have won, but Hamilton drove into Kimi's car. At that moment I was really like ''WTF is he doing!!!!'' I guess it can happen. Hopefully Raikkonen will win in France next time
<

ROBERT IS LEADING THE WDC!!!!!!
<
<

I don't think he'll win though. Lewis and the Ferrari drivers should close the gap in a few races time .

Congrat to BMW for 1 and 2 finish...not to forget D.Couthoult for finishing 3rd. Kimi must be very pissed off with Hamilton. Canada GP always exiciting just like accident fill Monaco.. Now Championship is wide open...makes F1 more exciting this year.
<

F1 should take away that stupid red light system and instead replace with 10 second stationary at the pit if driver insist on filling fuel during safety car

Agree that the rules during the safety car suck, but not with your proposed solution.

Why are the pits closed when the SC is deployed? The "reason" given is that they don't want cars speeding round the track to get into the pits.
<
Surely, speeding round the track is what this is all about. Why does it become so much more dangerous once the SC is on track? The double waved yellows will still be present at the accident scene so why close the pits? Barichello and Heidfeld have both had to pit whilst the pit lane was artificially closed in order to not run out of fuel in races this year and been given penalties. This sucks.

Why is the red light on at the pit lane exit when the SC and accompanying train of cars pass? The "reason" given is that it's dangerous to have cars emerging from the pits as the train passes.
<
If it's safe for cars to exit into a train of cars going at full speed and trying to overtake each other then surely it's significantly safer to exit into a train of cars bimbling around behind the SC.

These rules are just more ill thought out crap brought to you by Max the Nazi.
<

Yeah the SC rule is stupid but I think they were going to fix it for the next race, somekind of speed limit on track while SC controlled by the standard ECU.

Well my day was already pretty damm good after Dani and Rafa kicked ... BIG time in Montmelo and Roland Garros respectively. Would have been just perferct if Alonso had won, but ....... Heidfeld spoilt the perfect day, I guess I can't have everything.

Yeah, my day couldn't be ruined either, because like you said Rafa kicked ...!!!!!
<

And Rossi finished 2nd, which was nice too, he's still leading the standings! I was a little bit angry when Lewis ruined Kimi's race, but it can happen I guess, and I'm sure Raikkonen will win a few races in Europe. The gap isn't that big, so I'm not too worried atm!

Nadal OWNS on clay.

No idea what Hamilton was thinking, at least he was honest in the pit lane. Made me laugh when he said 'I'm sorry IF I've ruined Kimi's race'... no... he's just OUT of the race, I don't think there's an 'if' about it
<

I doubt Kubica can keep top of the pile, consistency has been the reason he's at the top. All credit to him, but eventually he'll have a bad result and I don't see him winning again this year. He drove excellently, but would have struggled to even be on the podium had Hamilton not crashed into Kimi.

LIke you said, Kubica is on top because of consistency, he's the only one I think who has been driving almost mistake free all season!! This point system awards consistency more than before, but at the end of the season we should see either a Ferrari driver win the WDC or Lewis!

I don't find anything funny about that "IF"
<
but Kimi's reaction, when he pointed at Lewis with his finger and then pointed at lights, that was funny.

I would not take out Kubica or BMW from the equation..it still long way to go..

Exactly, that's why! It's still a long season, and I can't see him stay on top in the remaining 11 races to come. Ferrari and LH should close the gap. Of course this is racing, and anything is possible, but it's not likely that RK will win it. IF he's still on top (or really close) after 6 races, then I might think otherwise.

Red Bull usually do pretty cool advertising campaigns but this one is spot on! The F1 cars will drive at Pamplona in the famous San Fermin celebrations. They will do the same route the bulls do and with the "mozos" (people) running ahead.

After there will be some other events and expositions in the city.

French GP-Magny-Cours,

So Kimi gave 200th pole position for Ferrari.
<
, followed by Massa, and Fernando..Interesting to see how Fernando can challenge Massa for the race.

Bad day for Mclaren as both drivers have to start from 10th-Heiki and 13th-Hamilton on the grid due to the penalty.
Can wait to see how Hamilton passing mid packers..

I thought he actually would be able to reach the top 6, but he didn't. I guess after his drive-through penalty that wasn't possible anymore.

I already expected a ''boring'' Ferrari 1-2. I was right, but I thought Raikkonen would win, and he would have if it wasn't for his problem! I'm just happy he finished the race and scored 8 points. The good thing for him is, Lewis didn't score any points today, and Kubica didn't finish in the top 4, so he closed the gap a bit. Now Massa is leading the WDC (for the first time in his career). Hopefully Kimi can close the gap to his teammate soon.

I'm happy that Nelson finally did a good job, and because of Alonso's mistsake he scored more than the Spaniard today. Hopefully Piquet will continue to score points.

Also well done to Jarno Trulli!!!!
<

Can't wait for Silverstone!!!!

I missed the race because the cable was out due to the storm...i had to be contented with replays...fortunately, i was able to catch motogp just in time.

so kimi didn't win eh? but he managed to hang on to second. and hammie ...... up again? my oh my...i would have pass on the F1 replay but i guess it's still kinda worth the watch.

Kimi didn't win, but he would have won dominantly if it wasn't for his exhaust problem. I rather saw him win of course, but I guess 8 points ain't that bad, especially because LH didn't score any points at all. Massa increased his gap though, but I think 5 points isn't that much.

Lewis got a drive through penalty yesterday. Otherwise he would have scored point. He's only 5 points behind Kimi, so it's not the end of the world. I'm sure he'g gonna fight back in England, but I'm not sure it will be enough for the win. Last season Kimi won there, and I really hope he will win it again! He NEEDS to win a race again. Spain seems so far away now!

Ferrari pace was so much for Toyota and Renault to follow..Half way I switched to 250 race and I didn't see why Hamilton got penalty
