Congrats to Kimi, looks like it's gonna be a walk down the park for him, Ferrari is clearly better so far.
I'm glad Heikki is OK, that was a massive crash.
I feel quite happy, ok Alonso DNFed but Renault has shown some progress and that quali lap was ....... amazing, YOU'RE THE BEST!!! GO FA!!! I have my hopes for something big at Monaco, which is the track where aero counts less and driver talent matters most.

Heikki was indeed lucky, proves how far the safety standards have advanced since 10 years ago.

I felt the same watching on TV. If he had been in a similar condition to mika hakkinen at adelaide the consequences could have been terrible.

great race today!! Istanbul Park really is an excellent circuit and produces excellent racing up and donw the grid. It was exciting to see Lewis on a different stratergy to Ferrari today, although from the second stop it didn't look like it would pay off. A massive shame for Heikki to come into trouble so early, im convinced he could have podiumed today, but now hes falling further behind the championship contenders. Massa drove brilliantly under pressure and recently has put an impressive run of results together. if it can last through the circuits he isn't the master of then he might be able to challange his team mate. BMW seemed a bit left behind today, maybe the streets will be kinder to them............

Missed the whole race due to a dinner party, got back to the bar just in time to see the podium full of the usual suspects..

What a fantastic race today!!! Mclaren did extremely well to negate Hamilton's error, and in the second half of the race Lewis did well. Massa has proved himself to be a worthy championship contender, and the battle is close and intense now. Another big shame for Hekki when he looked like he had so much potential. Kimi had a bit of a nightmare at the end, but even though he got no points, he did do a remarkable save where DC managed to crash in qualifying. Kubica, Sutil and Vettel all deserve huge praise for not making any errors.

Might be only one race, but I think Mr. Sutil will find himself getting phone calls very soon and very often by some of the more funded teams, i.e. Renault, Williams, Honda.

And with his performance, this picture needs to return.

If not for Kimi some stupid mistake A.Sutil could have 4th or 5th place..what a shame for kimmi..

I think it was not 100% Raikonens fault though. Your going down hill, it was still a bit damp, he was on the dry weather tires. He's never been in that position with Sutil in front racing for position. Plus, David Coulthard also had the same problem in Q2 Qualifying, where he got the rear end loose, but DC ended up hitting the wall.

stewards decided it's a racing incident...

about the picture: on first glance, it looks like they're holding hands!
