YEah ok pete look further down my posts and I said exactly that about the twins being better on the tires than the 4's. Man some of you guys just pick .... out and focus on the things that make your statments true. I laugh at your stupidity.

It's hard to argue against Haga's need for change; however, if Spies keeps this winning pace up, should the old Nitro Nori make a return? I'll miss the old Haga, if he is indeed gone and not just being out-performed by Spies.

On that Yamaha, when Nori decided he was going to win, there was seemingly no stopping him.

I said that before but heng47 obviously has some sort of blinders on. In short Haga was never going to win a WSBK riding brilliantly at times and erradic at others. Yes, when he was on it, he was awesome. Someone obvioulsy had gotten through to him that consistency is the only way that he will win. Maybe he talked to Hayden

You said that Spies has been in a dog fight with Haga and won, I was only trying to show you that they have not been in a Haga-type dogfight yet. This is a 28 race game. It's too early to declare either Haga or Spies champion. For all we know Aprilia pulls some magic and Biaggi wins the championship.

I understand your boy has changed styles to win a championship. In Haga's interview after the race I think that he was a little pissed about the ass whooping he recieved and alluded to the fact that he was going to bring it in Valencia. I wonder if Tardozzi will be able to calm him down. Just to speculate, if the old Haga rolls into town, and he is %100 on his game, will Spies be able to hang? No need to reply, I already know your answer.

Anyone remember Tardozzi's reaction last year at the Qatar race when Bayliss won a race by hanging it out there and being very "non-Bayliss like". Tardozzi was freaking out, seriously worried Bayliss was goign to bin it, only Bayliss won. The guy does not like it when his riders are taking chances or being reckless. When Haga was signed to Ducati I was surprised, as his race craft didn't seem to fit the Ducati team. But after watching Haga the last two rounds he certainly seems more composed and willing to ride smooth to finish the race, thus picking up the points important for the overall. I would love to have seen Haga on that Yamaha this year though.

You would be surprised.

I'm not a Haga fan, I suffered the whole of 2008 rooting for Biaggi. I just believe in a little more objectivity and fairness in judging a championship. Would Spies be able to hang?

I don't know. Nor will I pretend to know. From what we've seen, I say he'd give Haga a good fight. But when things go crazy and you have 3 or 4 bikes going into corners side by side, swapping paint and turning this into a contact sport, that's when we'll all know. that this is one heck of a race.

Yes, I agree. Thanks BEN, this is a great forum you have created. It’s a magnificent place to exchange opinions and ideas related to our passion for motorcycle racing. It has proven to be a fantastic meeting place for life long friendships of which I have exceedingly enjoyed and appreciated. Ah, it’s been a great outlet and release from the daily reality of our lives and has served as a pressure valve from personal challenges. Not to mention, it has been an outstanding entertainment value. Like a great movie, you have several stellar performances, both heroes and villains, and of course what would a good movie be without the comic relief provide by the cameo appearances of dumb clucks--they makes us all laugh...at them.

So, yeah, thanks BEN, you’ve done a great job!
