Ezpeleta Rossi Will Ride Competitive bike 2013

When discussing rule consistency it is fine and right to compare with similar offences within the same era. Comparing Bautisa's crash to rossi taking out stoner is worthy of debate.

Comparing Stoner punching Randy to Rossi running Gibbers wide at Jerez 05 is not imo. Comparing Stoner kicking out at checa to what sofogalu did the other night is also comparable when talking about the inconsistent punishments between riders and race series.

What we get on powerslide is a ... for tat. It's a case of you criticized Stoner so i will criticize Rossi. Nothing more than mud slinging. This was not the case back in 06 when there was some rivalry and banter between Rossi and Hayden fans. This is unique to aussie stoner fans with the exception of a couple of yank hillbillys, probably due to lack of sophistication.

So why is ... for tat unacceptable? If you criticise stoner's personality if you feel like it, why shouldn't people criticise rossi's personality if they feel like it? The only reason I can see is that you assume (that word again) that you are right and they/we are wrong, or that you and pete are just making witty jibes, while return of serve about rossi is totally different, because, well it just is, which seems to be your general line of argument.

Why was stoner's trackside handclap different than rossi giving max the finger, the comparison of which was one of the things which apparently earned me my neobopper status? If rossi is sufficiently fantastic to steer the bike one handed in the middle of a race to give max (after significant provocation) the finger without peril which I would not dispute, why is it horrendously dangerous for stoner to walk to the stop of the straight, watch the same valentino rossi ride solo down the straight in clear view, and slow hand clap him, in the same place a marshal would probably be waving a flag if there was oil on the track in the following corner, after far more significant provocation in the eyes of many people other than you? The stewards expressed no opinion on either incident as far as I know.

Seeing you bring up the bautista incident in comparison with the jerez incident last year, which I have stayed away from hitherto, jorge has screamed blue murder about that, quite possibly justifiably, but stoner was condemned for a one liner during a photo opportunity after which he steadfastly maintained it was a racing incident which warranted no further discussion. Bautista wasn't even trying to pass jorge in particular as far as I could tell, and has no particular animus against jorge as far as I know. I agree with jumkie about first corner incidents, but bautista (from some viewpoints) at least has the excuse of being a hard charging relatively inexperienced young rider.

You won't draw me on comparisons with the sofoglu incident, a peurile attempt to get someone to prove your peurile argument.

You can repeat yourself all you like, I didn't accept your (non)argument the first time, and repeating it makes it no more acceptable.

As I said (to repeat myself) rossi was entitled to give max the finger, the jerez thing was a racing incident and in no way deliberate and in retrospect probably not reckless, and it was understandable that jorge was really annoyed in the heat of the moment, the point is the difference in attitude from many, and you in particular, if stoner is involved, a point you cannot seem to grasp

. It is hard to argue with you other than by analogy, as you can see no fault in anything you say, despite constantly finding fault in others.

You find me frustrating, I find you equally frustrating, that's the way it goes. There are those perhaps overly wedded to aristotlean logic who might point out as keshav has done that you initiate most of these things.

Cal had a more sophisticated reaction to the Bautista incident. I think it went along the lines of, "what a ........!" All on live tv, haha classic.

Why I hate Daniel Pedrosa in 8000 words or more. You guys ready for it? (Oh, and I will use the word "hate" and not hide behind the more benign and dishonest word "dislike." I pretty much hate the dude. ) Alright, here we go.

I've have been watching racing since before racing existed with much enjoyment, it all changed, when in 1985, a little piece of Spanish fecal material was propped up and given a proper birth certificate....the rest is history.

I think we need to see this supposed birth certificate! In English! None of that foreign mumbo-jumbo!
