Are they going to count the combined practice times this time? (i see that on the Spanish feed)

I thought it was the result of the last FP, last time when Rossi took the pole in indy.

QP cancelled due to the heavy rain. FP results counts and Vale is 3rd, Lor in pole and Hayd 2nd..

But tomorrow worst weather is expected! Davide Brivio

Will they race in weather that is worse than what caused cancellation of QP. I was at Indy and it wasnt really the rain that caused the race to be shortened, it was the 50-60 mph winds that were ripping up the airfence on the track and blowing bikes over in the parking lot. Are the winds at Estoril a problem, or is it mainly a lot of rain.

It looked to be a lot of standing water on track, at estoril, is the main problem.

I was in the upper deck on the front straight for Indy. The wind was so bad.

I think its the 'standing' rain. The lack of water drainage on the track. In a few interviews, the riders made mention of this. They come across puddles of water.

Today the BBC Said during the rained off QP coverage

One of the things from yesterday was the drainage even when it had stopped raining for hours yesterday the track was still wet and didnt drain.its looks bad for tomoz

wind can be a prob it's like 4 mile from two coastlines

on the south west tip directly on the Atlantic

Drainage is ..... old school track and surface

Without even clicking on the link, i knew exactly what was coming. I will watch that movie any time its on for one scene. When they are walking into the ball sword fighting with the canes, and Harry hauls off and cracks him across the back of the legs, i lose it every time.
