1. The fact that Stoner need to consult many doctors is due to none of them agree that he has an illness, thus it is called a mysterious illness. It is so mysterious because Stoner made it all up as an excuse of losing.
2. Stoner is a smart and cunning guy (who happened to be a coward). He faked the mysterious illness in 2009, but not in 2010. Why?
Because he cunningly chose to come back in 2009 at a time of the season where the tracks suit his Ducati, so that he can "prove" to the world that he can beat them all. In other words, this means that he has to tell a story that his illness is already cured at the end of 2009.
So he cannot use the same mysterious illness excuse again in 2010, because nobody would have believed him. As I said many times, Stoner is smart and cunning.
3. People like me is not part of the reason he retired. He retired because he is a coward running away from challenges of 2013, running away from Marc Marquez, thats a cowardly behaviour.
4. The answer Stoner gave was typical beat around the bush answer, before that interview, he said he had illness that made him lose energy and puke into his helmet. He looked for doctors to help him find excuses, fortunately, all the doctors (credit especially to Ducati doctors) thought that there was nothing wrong with Stoner as he was faking it.
Then Stoner managed to find an unethical doctor who helped him come out with reason of lactose intolerance, suddenly Stoner went from "I don't know whats wrong with me" to..."Look everyone, I got lactose intolerance"...
See how he changed the answer according to situations? Thats called BEAT AROUND THE BUSH answer from Mr. Casey Stoner.
5. You are in the minority group of Aussies who still respects Stoner. Majority of Aussies lost respect for Stoner due to his cowardly behaviour. This is a fact.
Unfortunately, I respectfully disagree with your statements. Here's my facts -3410451358657912
None of those sentences contain facts apart from Stoner not winning the 2008/09 championships.
Stoner saw several doctors and only one suggested lactose intolerance. No doctor is infallible and Ducati's doctors, plus several others were obviously fallible.
Stoner didn't have a mystery illness in 2010 as the lactose intolerance was being treated. He didn't win the championship again, so what was different about 2010 in comparison to 2009 in your warped world?
Cuckoo, its people like you that are partly the reason that Stoner retired :

Note that he clearly states what the problem was, he doesn't "give very beat around the bush type of answer about his mysterious illness" as you would have it.
BTW I join with the other Australians on this forum in stating that Stoner has my full respect, both for the years he spent motorcycle racing, and for his decision to retire. Same goes for all my mates that follow MotoGP. So all the Aussies I know disagree with your statement that he's not respected over here. How many Aussies do you know?
