Door always open for Stoner to return

None of those sentences contain facts apart from Stoner not winning the 2008/09 championships.

Stoner saw several doctors and only one suggested lactose intolerance.  No doctor is infallible and Ducati's doctors, plus several others were obviously fallible.

Stoner didn't have a mystery illness in 2010 as the lactose intolerance was being treated.  He didn't win the championship again, so what was different about 2010 in comparison to 2009 in your warped world?

Cuckoo, its people like you that are partly the reason that Stoner retired :

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/sport/sportresults/MotoGP/2012/May/may1712-stoner-lost-passion-for-motogp/

Note that he clearly states what the problem was, he doesn't "give very beat around the bush type of answer about his mysterious illness" as you would have it.

BTW I join with the other Australians on this forum in stating that Stoner has my full respect, both for the years he spent motorcycle racing, and for his decision to retire.  Same goes for all my mates that follow MotoGP.  So all the Aussies I know disagree with your statement that he's not respected over here. How many Aussies do you know?
Unfortunately, I respectfully disagree with your statements. Here's my facts -

1. The fact that Stoner need to consult many doctors is due to none of them agree that he has an illness, thus it is called a mysterious illness. It is so mysterious because Stoner made it all up as an excuse of losing.

2. Stoner is a smart and cunning guy (who happened to be a coward). He faked the mysterious illness in 2009, but not in 2010. Why?

Because he cunningly chose to come back in 2009 at a time of the season where the tracks suit his Ducati, so that he can "prove" to the world that he can beat them all. In other words, this means that he has to tell a story that his illness is already cured at the end of 2009.

So he cannot use the same mysterious illness excuse again in 2010, because nobody would have believed him. As I said many times, Stoner is smart and cunning.

3. People like me is not part of the reason he retired. He retired because he is a coward running away from challenges of 2013, running away from Marc Marquez, thats a cowardly behaviour.

4. The answer Stoner gave was typical beat around the bush answer, before that interview, he said he had illness that made him lose energy and puke into his helmet. He looked for doctors to help him find excuses, fortunately, all the doctors (credit especially to Ducati doctors) thought that there was nothing wrong with Stoner as he was faking it.

Then Stoner managed to find an unethical doctor who helped him come out with reason of lactose intolerance, suddenly Stoner went from "I don't know whats wrong with me" to..."Look everyone, I got lactose intolerance"...

See how he changed the answer according to situations? Thats called BEAT AROUND THE BUSH answer from Mr. Casey Stoner.

5. You are in the minority group of Aussies who still respects Stoner. Majority of Aussies lost respect for Stoner due to his cowardly behaviour. This is a fact.

We'll see... Lived to long to say never gonna happen. Casey of 2013 may well mean it. But Casey of 2016 may have something else to say...

I absolutely agree with you. Casey really meant it in 2013 because he knew the challenge is strong in 2013, he is afraid of it, so when he says he ain't gonna come back racing in 2013, he really mean it.

In 2016 or other years, he is gonna leave the option open, Stoner wants to assess how strong the competition is first before making a surprise come back.

Lets put it this way, if competition is strong, Stoner stays true to his word of not coming back. If competition is weak, Stoner the coward will make a U-turn on his decision.

As always, Stoner the Smart, the Cunning, and the Coward

1. Confirmation bias

2. Bollocks

3. He states that people not believing that he has lactose intolerance are part of the reason for his retirement, hence you are part of the reason. FACT

4. Bollocks

5. I ask again, how many Aussies do you know that lost respect for Stoner? And in addition, how many Aussies do you know in total?

3. Surely, in this modern media world, everyone can get true and good information, and they found out Stoner was faking the lactose intolerance nonsense that make him puke in helmet. Stoner stating that as the reason for his retirement is a cowardly excuse to cover up the real reason for his retirement - which is to run away from strong challenges of 2013.

5. Most of the Aussies lost respect for Stoner. You can tell easily about their disgust. I know hundreds and thousands of Aussie race fans.

Should be in the other thread, but prompted by cuckoo's last post on this thread.

I am mostly with andyroo, I have never and will never call for anyone to be banned.

Cuckoo is obviously smart,  was amusing initially, but would seem to have too much time on his (fairly definitely a him) hands; to carry it on for this long approaches monomania.

The problem now is that most current motogp threads resemble the monty python argument sketch, given that cuckoo will not engage in any actual discussion concerning his fake arguments but merely repeats them as has been said. The argument sketch was a brilliant sketch, but was a small part of one show, and the pythons as  I recall did not just keep repeating that sketch, doing nothing else, for the rest of their careers.

If your point is that stoner fans are just as sensitive as rossi fans to mindless criticism of the rider they follow you have made it cuckoo, and I won't resort to monty python myself by arguing about which mindless criticsm came first.

"I've got no thoughts whatsoever at this time of ever even thinking of coming back to grand prix racing,'' he said. "I'm not changing my mind every couple of minutes. The money doesn't interest me.''

That is leaving the door open if i have ever seen it. He may never walk through that opening, but he left himself the option.

Stoner will feel the itch in 2015-16.   Will he scratch it?   Quite possibly.

It would be foolish to unequivocally rule out a comeback. Sure, he is 100% now, but that has no bearing on how he will feel in the future.
