Sorry to aggravate you buddy. I wasn't really trying to be funny. But sure, I often digress. Two things though to distinguish in my posts: 1. The League 2. Rossi the rider. Most of my rants are directed at the framework that allows for such a farce to exist. Thats usually what I'm banging on about. The other is Rossi, the rider. Here there is much fodder to be sure (and am always happy to up-pay them), but not the actual focus of my rants. And yes, you are correct in assessing where it all stemmed from with me in particular. GP, like you is my fav sport, hobby, addiction, and you and I live in two distinct experiences. You being a VR fan have lived (up until 2011) in a unchallenged nirvana, while me, its been more like eating shaving blades. It seems to have subsided a bit with the vindication that I was right about VR given the lessons of 2011-2012, but just like that, I know all that will be erased in the collective mind of the general sport fan once day one of 2013 season starts. None will know (except only us here on the forum, the collective conscience of the sport) that this resurgence is as contrived as the previous run.
I'm not sure why you protest in me wanting to be proven right, I certainly don't want to be proven wrong. How am I covering all my bases? I'm not arguing both sides of an argument. I think I've been fairly consistent in saying VR's record is largely a League creation. And the second point, I've also been fairly consistent calling out the times VR, the man, has been a willing participant in the Hero vs. Villain narrative.
Im glad you are concerned for the noobs. It seems we all strive to be welcoming hosts to all our new members, eh Koos. Haha. Dude, there is a difference between luck and the conspiracy theories I propose. Do you really need me to explain the difference? And cmon man, sworn false statements? Hahaha. Contrary to popular opinion, I dont put words in the mouths of former GP riders.
Oh, and let me add. Rossi is great coward. He went to Ducati because he not want to stay with Lorenzo to fight. He knows, easy for him to blame Ducati for poor performance. More difficult to hide his coward if he stay at Yamaha to fight for title. He is cunning, smart, coward, knowing if he stay at Yamaha, he lose. So he go to Ducati to avoid fight with Lorenzo. Rossi leaving Yamaha early due to being scared of facing potential upcoming rivals that could dethrone him of his fans believe that he is best. So he go to Ducati, smart cunning coward move. The questions asked, why Rossi had to fake the go to Yamaha?
Answer and fact - Rossi could not get over the fact that he had been beaten by Lorenzo (the unworthy champ) 2 years in a row, 2010 and 2011, after Rossi's ego was inflated to unprecedented heights after 2009. Had Rossi known back then that only he could not ride the Ducati, he would not have come out with the mysterious ill-fate move to Ducati nonsense. He would have known that he would get sympathy of fans for riding the Ducati.
This evidence supports the fact that Rossi is coward.
I believe that this is enough evidence already.
