Door always open for Stoner to return

Conveniently leaving out:

Fact - subsequent diagnosis by Drs. versed in the field reveal a treatable lactose intolerance. Cured, no reoccurrence.

That little fact just didn't fit in to your fantasy world did it?

Adult onset lactose intolerance is not a "sexy" diagnosis, but entirely explains stoner's problems in 2009.  He actually did less well in 2010 than he did in 2009 without any recourse to (so-called) "mystery" illnesses.

I generally disapprove of clubbing baby harp seals, but if you insist, and since you appear to be a rabid and unpleasant variety of seal, I will reply.

Your qualification in video medicine is what exactly?

The ducati and stoner were plenty fast while he was ill in 2009, he faded late in races. When his illness issue was resolved, he ceased to do so. Stoner in 2009 had already won a premier class title on an 800 ducati, and in his career at ducati won 23 races (more than dani pedrosa has won in 3 more years on a factory honda), as against 1 by any other rider on an 800 ducati, including the great valentino rossi (I say great unironically as I actually do think he is great btw, even in comparison to marc marquez) ; I don't think stoner  requires much in the way of excuses for his ducati career.

Unfortunately, I think you had badly missed the whole point. You need to relax,...then look at my post again, analyze deeply what I wrote -

Stoner during 2009 - he was losing to Rossi two years in a row, at that time he didn't know that he is the only that can ride the Ducati.

Therefore, being the coward that he is, Stoner decided to run away from the challenge of getting beaten by faking his mysterious illness. He is simply not brave enough to face the fact of being second to Rossi yet again.

Stoner in 2011 and 2012 - Now Stoner realized that he was the only one who could ride the Ducati fast. If Stoner knew that in 2009, probably he would not fake the mystery illness then, because fans will sympathize with him due to ill handling Ducati.

So these two separate episodes show that Stoner was such a coward,

In 2009 - he thought "oh ....,...Rossi's beating me, I have no excuses, my 2007 reputation will be at stakes,...what should I do? I can't tell the world I take a break from a few races to go hiding in the lakes fishing....

So best thing to do is for me to fake a mysterious illness that results me puke into helmet during race, then everyone will believe me. The fans will think I am recuperating in Australia, while I am relaxing by the lake fishing...."

In 2011 and 2012 - Stoner thought "...actually Rossi can't ride the Ducati, so its time to attack him in public. ...., I should not have fake the mysterious illness in 2009, because by now fans would have cut me some slack because I was riding ill handling Ducati back then..."

Only cowards like Stoner will kick his rival Rossi while he is down in 2011 and 2012, while before that, Stoner was timid like a mouse. Such attitude makes him lose the support of his Aussie fan. Adriana is doing a bad job stroking this "Little Big Man's" ego.

I enjoy a little casual trolling, and if you are actually faking cognitive and cultural dissonance and having English as a 3rd or 4th language then props to you.

However, just for my interest, and apart from badly expressed cod psychology, how is it that you know stoner was pretending to have an illness in 2009?

Well I gotta say this is some of the best off-season entertainment ever. In general I could argue both, either, or any side of a rational debate. Well, rationality has left the building! Mind reading, subjective opinion presented as fact, and unwavering faith are the new order! Is there ANYTHING which can derail this rocket-sled-on-rails?

No ....... ....!

I swear you're more interested in being proven right than anything else, doesn't really matter what opinion you are expressing. This is why you are covering all bases, if Rossi wins he had help, if he loses he had help previously & either way you get your retribution.

What I really object to is some noobs who are turning up & buying your jolly japes as gospel. You've sat there & defended Hayden's championship against criticism, & now you want to take it away from anyone else? You may have kidded yourself that this is some form of retribution, but the behaviour you openly stated you despised you are now propogating.

There has only ever been one Witchfinder General here, complete with false bodkin & false sworn statements from Mamola & KRJR. It's you, you will say anything, go to any lengths, & it's not funny anymore.

EDIT: I'm also now wondering if you are Cuckoo, after some study of these threads.

Sorry to aggravate you buddy.  I wasn't really trying to be funny.  But sure, I often digress.  Two things though to distinguish in my posts:  1. The League 2. Rossi the rider.  Most of my rants are directed at the framework that allows for such a farce to exist.  Thats usually what I'm banging on about.  The other is Rossi, the rider.  Here there is much fodder to be sure (and am always happy to up-pay them), but not the actual focus of my rants.  And yes, you are correct in assessing where it all stemmed from with me in particular.  GP, like you is my fav sport, hobby, addiction, and you and I live in two distinct experiences.  You being a VR fan have lived (up until 2011) in a unchallenged nirvana, while me, its been more like eating shaving blades.  It seems to have subsided a bit with the vindication that I was right about VR given the lessons of 2011-2012, but just like that, I know all that will be erased in the collective mind of the general sport fan once day one of 2013 season starts.  None will know (except only us here on the forum, the collective conscience of the sport) that this resurgence is as contrived as the previous run.

I'm not sure why you protest in me wanting to be proven right, I certainly don't want to be proven wrong.  How am I covering all my bases? I'm not arguing both sides of an argument.  I think I've been fairly consistent in saying VR's record is largely a League creation.  And the second point, I've also been fairly consistent calling out the times VR, the man, has been a willing participant in the Hero vs. Villain narrative.

I’m glad you are concerned for the noobs.  It seems we all strive to be welcoming hosts to all our new members, eh Koos. Haha.  Dude, there is a difference between “luck” and the ‘conspiracy theories’ I propose.  Do you really need me to explain the difference?  And c’mon man, sworn false statements?  Hahaha.  Contrary to popular opinion, I don’t put words in the mouths of former GP riders.

Oh, and let me add.  Rossi is great coward. He went to Ducati because he not want to stay with Lorenzo to fight.  He knows, easy for him to blame Ducati for poor performance.  More difficult to hide his coward if he stay at Yamaha to fight for title.  He is cunning, smart, coward, knowing if he stay at Yamaha, he lose.  So he go to Ducati to avoid fight with Lorenzo.  Rossi leaving Yamaha early due to being scared of facing potential upcoming rivals that could dethrone him of his fans believe that he is best.  So he go to Ducati, smart cunning coward move.  The questions asked, why Rossi had to fake the go to Yamaha?

Answer and fact - Rossi could not get over the fact that he had been beaten by Lorenzo (the unworthy champ) 2 years in a row, 2010 and 2011, after Rossi's ego was inflated to unprecedented heights after 2009.  Had Rossi known back then that only he could not ride the Ducati, he would not have come out with the mysterious ill-fate move to Ducati nonsense. He would have known that he would get sympathy of fans for riding the Ducati.

This evidence supports the fact that Rossi is coward.

I believe that this is enough evidence already.

I don't know that I'd say he was a "coward". A big spoiled baby.... for sure. His ego led him to believe that he had enough sway with Yamaha to push Jorge out the door and once his bubble was popped - he didn't really have anywhere else to go but Ducati. As savy as Rossi has been in the past - I can't convince myself that he really and truly believed (given the evidence from Capirossi and Melandri) that he that he could make the Ducati work for him in one season's time. But if his ego outweighed his common sense at contract time with Yamaha I suppose - it could have had the same effect when it came to taking a seat with Ducati. Either that - or he's really dumb as a bag of hammers. Going to Ducati had disaster written all over it.

Rossi lacked talent to make the Ducati work. All his titles are won using the best bike, it is kind of a hollow championships, you could say that.

Rossi do not have talent to rear wheel steer the Ducati, that is only way to ride it fast.

Nothing quite like proving my point is there.

I can't be ....... bothered to pick apart everything so I will address two points in the hope that it will illuminate the wider picture.

As recently with Bradley Smith & Marquez, how do Malmola & KRJR really know what was going on outside of rumour & hearsay? However you are happy to present their (particularly self-serving in KRJR's case) gossip as truth. The basis of all your "truth" is the same, & yet you convince yourself that you are doing the right thing, that you are right by some divine arrogance? Without questioning your leaps of faith or sources? Witchfinder.

I find it strange that you think a forum represents the collective conscience of the sport. Rather than a transitory, fleeting, snapshot of people with too much time on their hands.

Stoner fans such as me getting annoyed with cuckoobird is probably relevant to rossi's greater achievements being disparaged. His 2 years at ducati when he was past 30 doesn't mean all his other success was meaningless, and he is quite likely to prove his ducati problems were bike specific fairly soon, even at age 33.

This did all start from some points of view with massive disparagement of hayden and stoner, without much in the way of justification imo, which doesn't mean the current pendulum swing against a rider who has achieved as greatly as rossi has is justified , even for me.

Yes, dani pedrosa and marc marquez are the only worthy premier class gp riders in history, despite dani not winning a title in 7 attempts on a factory honda, and marquez not having as yet competed in a single premier class race.

Not so fast, if Pedrosa or MM win a WC they will have done it on the best bike on the grid. Kinda cancels them out as well.

Which means the only worthy champion in the history of GP is Stoner who is a coward, so he's out as well.

Oh and Kevin. Kevin is the only guy to have won a WC proper. Ever. I'm glad Cuckoo came along and enlightened us.

Except doohan only beat rainey after he broke his back, so I guess that applies to kevin schwantz as well. Which makes KRJR the only worthy champion in history (might be true even, him winning on a suzuki at that stage in gp history was pretty unlikely a priori).

Ah not quite so BG, please let me explain using the Cuckoo Methodology (hereto known as CM)

Lorenzo was unworthy in 2010 as he had an injured opponent (ergo Rossi)

Doohan is unworthy as he did not win titles against a fit and healthy Rainey nor Schwantz

However, as we know CB's CM states that Rainey and Schwantz are the last of the worthy champions ........... stay with me.

But, during the title year of Schwantz ............. correct me here people ................. was it not the year of Rainey's tragic incident and the recovery year of Doohan following the leg injury?

Of course, the year prior Rainey won, but of course the CM method states that you are unworthy if you beat an injured opponent and thus that rules that year out (due to the Doohan injury and Schwantz broken wrist), leaving Rainey's second championship as the last true and worthy championship.

Kevin Schwantz fully deserves the title in 1993 because he was the best rider that year.

Well, you could say he is lucky, but he worked for it and deserved it.

Rainey would not have crashed and paralyzed himself if he didn't feel the pressure of Kevin Schwantz. So, Schwantz's great talent gave Rainey pressure, eventually low sided in Misano and paralyzed. Schwantz was really great that year, too great in fact that his talent resulted in unfortunate permanant injury to poor Rainey.

That is why Kevin Schwantz felt so guilty in 1994 and 1995 and became demotivated, because he had made his great rival paralyzed by showing too much talent.

Doohan is just an Aussie given 5 titles on the plate after the Wayne / Kevin saga.

Thats not how i look at it at all. Rossi has his championships and i dont care, good for him, he was hardworking enough both on and off the track to deserve them. what i am talking about is the many riders on the grid who coulda woulda shoulda. For years certain fans have sniggered at the suggestion some truly great riders get stuck on substandard equipment. They just lacked the talent right? Now after two years on the Ducati surely these fans understand what we were on about. Not quite 80% rider 20% bike is it. But no, they just take it as an attack on his unquestionable greatness and championships. Its not about Rossi, its about the others. If it was all just down to random luck then ok, but this championship is being determined far more by design, the lowest a sport can get imo. WWF. Stoner left at a point where there were only four championship contending positions available, and he had one of them. Rossi must have been sitting in that retirement press conference thinking Stoner is crazy. Stoner said its demotivating lining up on a grid with half the riders on CRT, its not real competition. Im sure Rossi would not give a .... about such things.
