Still looking.
Meanwhile someone asked for a shot showing the steering head area of Stoner's bike to see if he was using th gp9. Here goes, and it looks like steel to me.

Pedrosa has no balls in the wax. If he wants to win the championship, he's got to do better than that. Obviously Stoner is much better than Pedrosa in the balls...

AND SHOCK HORROR - RANDY DE PUNIET FINISHED A RACE AND DIDN'T KNOCK ANYONE OVER IN THE PROCESS!!!!!!!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MigsAngel @ Jun 22 2008, 11:59 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Dude, Nicky did most of all of winter testing on the pneumatic engine and its chassis. He has done a couple hundred laps on the thing and should know it better than anyone.

<
No he didn't.

Nicky and Pedrobot rode the spring valve all winter while the factory worked feverishly to have the pneumatic valve engine ready for the beginning of the 2008 season. Obviously, Puig was making contingency plans (or demanding Honda didn't run it) for the new engine never to arrive. Honda told the Repsol team the new pneumatic valve WOULDN'T be ready for Qatar.

Pedrosa's squad put in an order at the 11th hour for chassis changes that would make the 2008 chassis work better with the spring valve motor. Only two examples were ready for Qatar. In order to make good on it's dual #1 status, Honda split the bikes between Nicky and Pedrosa.

The charade lasted just a few practice sessions, until Vale sat up and Pedrosa (who had been following him around) binned his new toy.

That was me... I was wondering as Stoners Pit Crew was hovering over the bike in parc ferme..not letting anyone get close to peep at the bike. It looks like steel to me as well bu I am not 100%.

At anycase. Stoner did Ducati proud. I am glad to see him back to winning ways.
If Rossi doesn't find something quick Ducati may be back on top for 08.

Ahh the truth comes out about Nicky giving up his bike for Pedrosa..
Nicky. nicky.. at that point the loyal good ole boy should have awaken and started looking for a new ride....

Honestly, they guy needs to stop looking at the bike for the problem and more at himself to solve the problem. He rode really really well, but it was like he suddenly sobered up and realized he should not be riding at the front, and then went backwards fast.

No more excuses he has what he wanted in the bike he started developing in winter, and prefered, so now it has to be results result results....

It seems there was a problem.Who knows if its mental or what

On race day, problems with his ‘A’ bike forced him onto his backup, “which, you know, wasn’t great. And you know the race started OK and things were going decent, but I had a warning light came on the dash about lap nine or whatever. I did my two best laps” on laps six and seven “and that next lap the warning light came on and I wasn’t sure what it was. It wasn’t really a big problem that really hurt anything. But with the electronics, you get a warning light; normally something’s wrong. And can be, you don’t know if you go into a corner and have no engine brake system or no traction control.”

Stoner - unstoppable.
Rossi - pathetic, washed-up, has-been cheater who is still better than nearly everyone else. What does that say about the field?
<

Pedrosa - I knew he would find speed on raceday, predictably, he is following the same strategy the last Repsol rider used to win a championship.
Edwards - solid and dependable when he's not riding the spare parts bin
Dovi - solid
Lorenzo - good work keeping it upright
<

Hayden - I expected more, but I understand he's riding an engine the factory say isn't working properly
Vermeulen - watching him fade as the Suzuki ate it tire edges was painful
Nakano - same spot as always
Westy - top ten? what a gem
<
Seriously, on that mean green piece of junk it is a good result

Toseland - tried way too hard all weekend.
Spies - predictable but I was looking for something a bit more inspiring

The remainder of the field - find a new job.

Nah you will lose some clarity by enlarging it.

....
And how about Hayden...

im not sure if he used the carbon frame but i am sure of one thing, i think he is now using the electronic system from the gp9 after testing it at catalunya.
you dont go from having setup problems like they were having then everything becomes ok,
they said they applied the 08 settings on the gp9 and got results straight away, im sure they would work vice versa, i think it would have been stupid not for ducati to use them instead of struggling to setup the bike.
stoner mentioned a new electronics system in an interview after the gp9 testing.

yam and honda bet crack the whip before they get caught out for a second time.

stilll stoner put on a great performance today.

cheater how do you work that out?

false start?
cutting corners?
savaging other bikes in the garages at night?
given a headstart?
drugging other riders?
paying tyre manufacturers money to savage tyres?
or maybe you think ezzy is hiding in the shrubs trying to knock other riders off with a pea shooter??

its his extraordinary talent get used to it because it wont end until he hangs up his leathers..

Yes. That's exactly what Rossi used when he walked up to Ezzy and told him to score some bridgestones for the Rossi side of the Fiat Yamaha garage.
<

<

If he's gonna rewrite the rule book, he should win every race, not build a 50 pt lead then follow Stoner's ... around.

hopefully horhey can get back into the mix soon.

rossi knows 2nd and even thirds for the rest of this season will win him the champioship.

no one else can podium other than pedrosa and stoner.

there prototypes constantly being evolved upgraded and made better

stoner has a new electronics system and thats why you seen that performance today, yamaha and honda better start gettin the new parts out cos ducati have just uped there game again.

honda should get a move on but as dani is so light, doing ok and not really loosing that much performance so they are in no rush.
