You have a point Rog.Just for the record I`m not a CS fanboy or a VR fanboy,my only argument is that we should give the riders the credit they deserve not insult them with sarcasm thinly disguised as light hearted puns.This has been my mission from day one of joining the site and has never really wavered and never will.I`m still a Hayden fan btw,but like I said my respect for riders means all of them.

Don't think we know whats really going on here.
After three races there's another ~month break due to the Hungarian round getting axed. That third race gets him an extra month and a half of time off compared to a 2 race break. It would also allow him one race before his home GP. It's a reasonable target, and beats "an unknown amount of time" from the team's perspective. I suspect his return this season is anything but certain, and the 3 race number is more of a likely minimum. If he's not back by then, he could easily miss the rest of the year. Also, with all of the additional reshuffling to get Kallio on the factory team temporarily, there might be some sort of provision that he gets at least 3 rides on the factory bike to show off his stuff.

In short, it makes a great deal of sense to give out a specific number for planning and publicity purposes, and the number that makes the most sense is 3. Obviously the championship is a loss and next season is the main priority, so there's no huge pressure to try and get back sooner if he's taking time off at all, and by then things will hopefully be more sorted.

Go back and read where this whole thing started. I was just saying that those who keep saying .... about someone like stoner in his condition might want get prepared if their rider comes down with the same thing. .... I was just trying to get people to stop making fun of the sick dude. I didin't wish any harm or cast anything bad on anyone. Yes Rossi is a fav of mine. Really more so than Stoner. The only rider I really don't like is Dani. I would like him if he got a bit more personality and animated but he needs to get rid of Puig. I do respect his skill as a rider though. How can you not? And that really goes for just about anyone on a GP grid. But go back and read where this whole shitstorm started.
