better yet maybe he could handle the pressure in the ama riding for Suzuki. Casey Mladin or Matt Stoner hmmm...well as long as the real MM hangs it up, what a ....... loser.

It could be said that faking an illness is disrespectful to the other riders, and pulling out of 3 races (so he has something to blame the poor final championship standings) is also disrespectful to the fans?

Bingo.

Even IF this is all in his head, and even IF Stoner retires to slog around in Nascar (or maybe he'll take up chess!), he will have accomplished far more than his couch potato critics can even dream of. It's easy to sit on your lard ... and take pot shots: " He's a pawn pushing ......" Try racing at his level, tough guy!; it takes tremendous focus, effort and determination.

Hell, I bet most of his critics haven't even raced at the club level.
rFactor anyone? (League racing can be pretty intense!) No? Didn't think so.

I thought only Hayden fans made up the conspiracies? "I don't buy the serious illness...", "It's all in his head.." Whatever kids. Believe what you want. Talk about being in your own head, the 'Boppers are trying to convince themselves that CS can't come back because deep down they all know he's one of a select few that can beat Valentino on any given day.

Thats all very true, but whats the point if when things get tough, and arn't all going your way, you turn to ....? Look at Hayden, still slogging round giving it his all, every race. Even the Doctor had his bad years, but this is part of developing into better riders, people etc.......... you get the picture. Casey lets himself down big style. He could be a crowd favorite if only he was honest and didnt use the blame game so often.

Stoner out of action for three races, Kallio to join Hayden in Ducati Marlboro team

CASEY STONER, Ducati Marlboro Team (3rd in the championship on 150 points)
“After five extremely difficult races due to my health, I returned to Australia to visit the sports doctors who have looked after me for many years. We have taken the difficult decision not to contest the next three rounds of the championship, to allow my body time to recover from the recent stress. The doctors believe that during the Barcelona race I was suffering from a virus, and, that I subsequently pushed my body too hard, leading to problems that have caused my fatigue since then. The doctors are continuing with many tests to try to understand these problems and make sure it does not happen again. I have spoken with Ducati and thank them for their understanding at this time. I feel very sorry for the factory, my team, my sponsors and the fans and I am also disappointed because the bike in the last races has been very competitive. I will be doing everything possible to come back at full strength for Portugal.

I am Sorry, my mistake. Weren’t there suppose to be 18 races in a Season, now I am complete lost…

http://resources.motogp.com/files/pdf/2009_calendar.pdf

From there I can only count 17. 2007, 2008 had 18 races. What’s the catch, where did I lose it?

I must have stayed with the Provisional 2009 Calendar:

http://www.motogp.com/es/news/2008/FIM+ann...MotoGP+calendar

12 Abril Qatar Doha/Losail
26 Abril Japón Motegi
3 Mayo España Jerez de la Frontera
17 Mayo Francia Le Mans
31 Mayo Italia Mugello
14 Junio Catalunya Catalunya
27 Junio Holanda Assen
5 JulioEstados Unidos Laguna Seca
19 Julio Alemania Sachsenring

13 Septiembre San Marino Misano
20 Septiembre Hungría Lake Balaton

Sorry everyone!

Oh man the 'We hate Stoner' crowd is really out in force
<

I bet even if he is diagnosed with a serious medical condition by a Doctor, the haters will still put their hands over their ears and start shouting 'It's all in his head i tell ya'
I doubt Ducati would let their lead rider sit out 3 races because he was scared of getting beat.

My opinion is that years of extreme physical extertion and dieting to lose weight has taking its toll on his body. However, we should all wait for a proper medical opinion, and hope he returns soon.

Lets face it, now theres only 3 riders who can win a race barring unusual circumstances...

Keep it up cause when some really scary .... happens to Rossi in the near future it was all due to those who wish harm to others like Stoner.

I dont think anyone wishes harm to any of the riders. Like ive said before, i like Casey, and he is a good rider (not great). Its just his whining and excusses that pisses people off. Holding his arm when he goes out for warm ups, quali's etc, just sort of "planting the seed" if things dont go his way. Its all a bit poncey really. Just wish he would get on with it, if he has a bad season (if finishing in the top 4 or 5 is bad!!) well so be it!!, on to the next one,....... learn from it.
