As it says, what a bummer although I do feel the circuit isnt big enough for the series anymore.Maybe its better that Donny has taken its place.

You mean 2011?

Mallory not on the calender??

Im gutted. I love that track

Whoops, good spot mate.Yes,Mallory is a fantastic circuit for viewing.BTW they did actually apply to extend the circuit a coupla years ago but it just faded away without any further action.

Thats a damn shame.

Im glad Donington is back because it was looking pretty dodgy there for a while and Its only 20 mins down the road from me, but losing Malory is a blow. I loved that the viewing was so close for the fans. Totally unlike Donington.

If anything they should have took off Knockhill. Poxy little go-kart track !

The elevation changes are good, especially the first dip down after the start/finish straight.

Nice overtaking / crashing point.

Dont like the fact its so short though. After only a handfull of laps and the front runners have caught the back markers.

Same with Brands Indie circuit. Cant understand why they use that one.

Yes mate,the3 Brands GP circuit is very under used when it comes to bikes but I think thats a noise issue with the surrounding area.

Ahh yes. Makes sense.

Seem to remember the same issue with Mallory last year. Residents were complaining about the noise.

..Er hello, you've brought a house near a race circuit.

Wonder if that had something to do with no mallory next year?

Dunno about extending it, but I'm sure I heard they wanted to extend the runoff at the esses, but couldn't so they built the chicane at Edwinas instead - which then led to them building Charlies chicane cos there was so many crashes at Edwinas.

Maybe. Seems like a load of them struggle with noise complaints nowadays. I think Croft had to pay like 150k to a family who complained about the noise. It's possibly just the track though as people have been saying for years that it's too small for the superbikes. I don't think too many of the riders like the track that much either.

So glad I went this year or I'd probably never have got to see BSB there. I'll be sad to see it go cos it's a great track for spectators (I couldn't believe how close the viewing area is to the bus-stop and round devils elbow), and the atmosphere's almost as good as Cadwell.

Brands is a great track, though I'm not sure we need 3 rounds there (2 of them on the Indy circuit). Dunno why they don't have a round at Castle Combe, as it's hosted non-championship BSB rounds before.

Well chuffed to get Donington back so soon though.

Shame its not on there as its a good BSB track, a bit like the old Hockenheim was for F1..different.

However can't say i'm a fan of the place, my gearbox crunched itself up when 3rd gear broke up in 2006 and then I siezed two brand new motors in 2007 there, the second one while entering Edwinas at probably 100mph.....i recall waking up somewhere other then the seat of my kart!
