I agree, 125s and moto2 were brilliant.
The moto2 was even better. The worlds tallest 8 year old (Bradley Smith) was very unlucky.
Marquez was showing agression of the hairball variety....weaving into opponent on straight etc
Iannone showing speed and racecraft. I know Krop has slated Iannone as having less of a future than Simmo, but I disagree: I see a big future for him. When he has a competitive package he has no need to override the bike (like CS on the 08-10 dukcati. no?) I think HE will be the next fast italian after Rossi.
and.........................there was also a motogp race; not as exciting as the other two, but intruiging all the same.Pedrosa killed any chance of a great race for himself.Lap times were slower than what he had done , but with higher track temperatures, would he have maintained his previous pace? We will never know..
Stoner is now starting to build a solid lead. If he can get it to 50 pts with 4-5 rounds to go it will be pretty well all over, but we know JL will never give up. Got to admire him for that.
Glad to see the Suzuki competitive, but the riders failing to take advantage. I strongly suspect Stoner could have won that race on Bautistas bike. An incredible concept! Stay in GP Suzuki!
Good that ducati/Rossi are making progress. I am however, waiting for a few diehard boppers to quote that because Rossi was faster than Stoners time last year, that Rossi REALLY is far better ( but conveniently forgetting that Rossi has had the benefit of almost infinite bike re-designs). Who will it be.........................yep ,come on down Talpa.................
