<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jumkie)<div class='quotemain'>Que pasa?

Clearly this incident was Melandri's fault!

Anytime you ride into another rider's "blind spot" this type of thing is going to happen. Kalio shouldn't have just pushed Marco, he should have socked him in the nose...that is to show him where Mika's "blind spot" is lurking.

You been hitting the Pirate Juice again, Jum?
<

Looking at it from this angle, I'd say that both you and Mika need to have your eyes examined.
<

Seriously, you've got to wonder if Kallio has a genuine blind spot in his field of vision? How else to explain? Marco was well ahead and not that far off to the right. Kallio appears to see the danger at the last second and tries to lift up, but by then it's too late.

Some racing incidents are the product of unforeseeable circumstances.
Some (like Lorenzo's crash with 5 laps to go) are the product of impetuousness
and frantic mindset. I would put Kallio's crash in category #2. And BTW
I am a big admirer of Kallio and wish him only the best. I like him -
but can still say - he ...... up. I'll be pumped - come the time
that either Hayden or Kalio break into the top 5 on freak-show Ducati
just because it's such a ....... challenge.

I dunno . . . watch that scene again. From one camera angle it looks like Kallio saw him, reacted too slowly - trying to shut the door.

From another camera angle it looks like Kallo was simply riding over his head and barged into
Melandri.

IMHO - Kallio was too desperate to give a good showing to the factory and
lost his cool. Not saying there was "dirty racing" - merely that he had a lapse of
judgement. It's racing. It happens.

I hear that 3rd for midgets is like 2nd for regular folks.

Well Done Rossi, unfortunatly Lorenzo crashed and robbed us of an exiting finish.

nice to see Elias trying his best, even if it's for the contract time.

about the incident between Melandry and Kalio i have to say it was a racing incident, and Kalio

didn't see him, but Melandri had every right to be where he was and it's clearly appear that at the

time of crash Melandry is in front, and in my opinion he didn't make any mistake to take the

opportunity and dive inside. I only got mad at Kalio for pushing Melandri. He thinks now that he has

the Stoner's bike suddenly he has become Stoner and he shows his true colors. Maybe he was so

much concentrating on beating Hayden and showing Duc's that he's the real deal.I hope he

applogizes to Melandri in the media, or otherwise next time someone else pays him back.

in 250's Bautista did a Bautista, i really dont know why they are bringing him in to MotoGp for

professionals, He makes a lot of mistakes under pressure, and what he today did was even more

silly.

I only saw it from one angle but from that it looks like Melandri was cleanly in front and how about the Capper/Suzuki combo??? Right on.

Geonerd & Kev, (and anybody else having issues with sarcasm), read my post again boys. Ya get my meaning?

Hint: "blind spot" in front of nose.

BTW, anybody saying Kallio did not see Melandri is BLIND themselves! There is NO ....... WAY Kallio didn't see him unless he had his eyes closed! Even if he wasn't looking at him directly (which he should have going into a turn with the rider in question infront and toward the apex) then he should seriously get his eyes checked. Does Kallio have no peripheral vision? Oh, and don't give no "camera angle" ........, any angle Kallio should have seen him, geez the guy he torpedoed was directly INFRONT of him. WTF, Kallio just shuts his eyes going into corners? Somebody remind me, but didn't something earlier in the season similar happen? Somebody remind me.

Translation of what suppo is saying maybe interesting...

Camera angle just the same perspective as before so adds nothing to the discussion.

Anybody remember the similar incident earlier in the year? (probably 250s - most exciting class every race afterall. Idiots Honda!!)

Hahahaha. Its actually refreshing to see the Fins coming out of the woodwork defending him. I'm tired of the old Rossi vs. X posts. I figure its time for Kallio to get a little heat. Hahaha.

Take comfort in that he was doing very respectable (until he hit that "blind spot").
<

It did get me laughing hermano, I did get your sarcasm, I fact I was thinking if Kallio was ever to try boxing, they should give him a ‘Blind Spot’ to hit and train on! (yes, yes, yes, it’s a joke too).

Anyway, nobody got hurt, Melandri has a seat for 2010, Kawasaki will be gone, and that is a shame!

Kallio did wrong by pushing Melandri (Twice!), first one was the ‘Racing Incident’ and not Melandri’s fault anyway, second one (and off the bikes) was ‘The real mistake’, but we take it that in the heat of the moment could happen to all of us…

Hell Puig said it was Hayden’s fault, from that, Pedrosa should have push Hayden once they stood up from the gravel… Instead Japanese IT guys had to program a ‘Public Apology’ subroutine for ASIMO!
<

It also may come with the bike as in: “Get out of my way even if you are in front of me in any Practice or Qualy”…
<

Yes, I am being sarcastic and idiotic too… I APOLOGYCE publicly!

Jumkie, maaaaaaate, come on.

You know that it was Stoner's fault.

Kallio was on his bike so therefore it has to be that Stoner choked or sent a message to the electronics or the traction control was to superior for Kallio to handle (remember - CS uses the most) so inevitable really that the bike would react and take control causing the incident with Melandri.

The above synopsis is formed after some alcohol and having only seen the crash a few times

Oh… so that's why he got off the bike with no real diagnosed reason! It must be going to do badly two mare races, might as well let a 'Substitute' take the shame!

You are doubtless thinking of Kallio hitting Aoyama from behind, San Marino 250s in 2008. Kallio claimed Aoyama had brake tested him (team mates on KTM) but the traces showed Aoyama's speed into that corner was exactly the same for each and every lap of the weekend. Don't recall Kallio publically apologising for the accident, or for the brake-test slur.
