Pedrosa actually adapted faster than Rossi. however, I think the design of the honda may have had something to do with it.

However, my only about a control tire is that due to the lack of competition, tire development may stagnate.

Data from satellite Honda's running Bridgestones would also have helped Pedrosa. Especially Nakano on the pneumatic engine, though I'm unsure that there is any significant difference between the chassis for the two engines.

The idea that ONE or TWO guys have a riding "style" that will benefit more with a type of tire is plain ....... stupid...

the fast guys will still up front.
its just peeps making excuses for there fav rider in advance mate. the best riders will adapt to the equipment they have the rest will whine how hard done by they are.

So we might as well make tires according to Rossi's spec then

my bet is rossi could ride and win on anyone's spec tyre.
mabe bridgestone should only make ant west spec tyres for everyone. see how happy all the riders would be with that.

not a bad idea, seeing that they will be suitable for no one then... = absolutely level playing field..
which is what were all after right?

I personally think that Bridgestone are the most Ungratefull people there are in Motorsport.
In 2004 no one would go near Bridgestone, then Ducati gave them the opportunity to prove
them selves, along with Ducati, Suzuki and to some extent Kawasaki have made Bridgestone the team they are today. To me the tyre situation this year was a joke, and this isnt sour grapes
cos Stoner lost this year, i think certain tactics were used this year to ensure certain riders won this year and certain riders didnt get the GOOD STUFF.
I know its all Politics and i tell ya it ..... me to tears, we have a single tyre rule next year, who ever
thinks that this new rule cant be Manipulated then you are very naive. I hope we have a good year
next year but i dont think we will unless the right rider/riders are winning.
Just think if Ducati hadnt developed a tyre for them, where do you think they would be right now?
ill tell ya still at the back of the grid. We are classed as a proto type series, yet where is the competition? Ezpeleta says that we are doing it for the safety of the riders, what a joke. Jeremy Burgess has already said that the tyres will not have the same grip as they do now, so with grip levels down wheres the rider safety there?

And Bridgestone... well what goes around comes around..

If Casey had not repeatedly binned it, he could now be still in contention for the title, and you wouldn't be speaking like this. He is not looking for excuses nor whining, though, in spite of his scaphoid problem and all, so--why should you. Take it easy...
