I think Bradley Smith has had a very good season in the 125's this season considering he's on a Honda. I can see him moving up to the 250's soon and we might even see him in the GP in a few years time.

What do you guys think?

Bradley is a solid rider for sure and one for the future, but at the moment i am not sure how far he will go. I want to see what hes got for raw speed on the Aprilia 125 (apparently Aspar wants him next year) before i think about that further, also he is still so young and a lot can change as his head matures. Overall i think he has a lot of potential, but all of my doubts are not silenced and i don't want to get carried away because someone British is remotely good. Either way it will be a long long time before we see him in motogp (roughly 2012 at the earliest i would imagine) so i'm pretty keen to see how Laverty can get on with 250's.

Yeah if/when he moves to Aprilia we will see just how good he really is, as aprilia are clearly the best bikes in the 125's atm
 
I had a good discussion about this with Tom last night.

Basically Smith is good, but not the best British up-and-coming talent, that goes to Rea.

Although it would be interesting to VERY interesting to see how he would be on an Aprilia.

Yeah it would be good to see Rea in the GP, but I think he'd wait until he's won the British Superbikes before joining the Gp or even the WSB, either word it would be interesting
 
Bradley will do us proud,whether he wins a title or not.Of course there will be the usual crowd ready to whinge about him if he has a bad patch.

Well I can see him doing a Dani Pedrosa, give him the right bike and I think he'll be really tough to beat.

I don't think hes that good, and i think the last thing we should do is expect things like that from him, its unreasonable.

Its hard to tell, being so young we don't even know how tall he will get yet, after hes grown up he will also bulk out and could easily have the stature needed for motogp. But we need to see his riding justify these places more than his size and shape. I hope he can stay on a works bike, thats all i expect of him.
 
He reminds me of Pedrosa with his size... but there's no way he's quite that talented. Plus, judging by his voice, I don't think his balls have dropped yet, lmao. So he should get bigger, and possibly be able to handle a Moto GP bike... but there's no way of knowing at this stage.

And I agree, he is ginger and scary.

He's back at Brno, he only missed Sachsenring and Donington.


He rode at Donington, hes only missed Germany.
