<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>So we'll have to see how the riders get used and perform on the new track of assen.
Seems some of them doesn't enjoys the changes.
Rossi said:In the past Assen was one of my favourite tracks and it was always a great, great emotion to ride a MotoGP bike at the limit there," explains five-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi. "Sadly the track has been changed so I am not as excited about it as usual, because it seems from reports that some of the ‘Assen magic' has gone."

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Look they've even straightened out the old start/finish straight which used to be wobbly.
With the changes they did 2 years ago at the back of the circuit(at the end of the super fast back straight) where it has become more 'flat' the new assen circuit wont be as twisty and as flowing as the old one.
The northern loop which has gone had really high banked corners that were basically just high speed kinks. I think thats the bit that Rossi thinks he will miss.
We will have to see.
it's realy not that bad, the new corner is realy spectacular to watch! I know, for the riders themself, it's not the best progress the TT-staff could have made, but for the viewers it's fantastic to see...
rossi wants to ride on safe tracks and now assen is as safe as it could ever become
