ASSEN GP: Predict, Practice, Qual

Ducati are well and truly in the .... ! Im starting to wonder if they can afford to spend the money required to get that bike on a par with the Honda and yam. I can now see it getting even worse next year. I can see Ducati pulling out of motogp at the end of next year if they don't get it sorted. No rider will want to ride it and im sure Philip morris will look to put their money elsewhere.

Geez Chops, I've never seen you be so pessimistic & dire. Its Rossi remember. He will find a solution tonight. Plus if it rains, expect him to be on podium. So start your rain dance buddy. Don't you worry about Ducati, they already pretend bent the non-existing rules this year, with 5 bikes, and maybe one more under Aspar, and the pGOAT, Dorna will find a way to get him on top.

I think I found the problem on Ducati, I'm not remembering the name... it's that part that resides immediately above the bike's seat and behind the handlebars...

oh I got it!! its name is Valentino.

Well its seems so far that this new Duck is what the Doctor ordered, Considering the conditions being almost identical to last round this is quite a turnaround. And I don't think Rossi has outpaced Stoner or Sic in an FP1 all year!

Wait for it......cheats, underhanded, corruption......here we go......remember this has been planned/announced since Valencia 2010.....

How about "cheats never prosper"
<

Where are you Talps? Skulked off again into the darkness....I was hoping for some major spindoctoring from you regarding Vales mediocre results in QP....something like "its a brand new bike give them time" blah blah blah....how is that .... sandwich tasting?
<

So much for "Heaven and Earth". That #2 spot at Yamaha must be looking pretty good to Vale just about now. And he's got another year of Ducati glories to look forward to. Oy vey!

. You mean the place he was double world champion?

What I don't get is the Stoner fanboys should be happy Stoner is leading the championship...but instead they're too busy talking about Rossi. Obsessed.

I'm still hoping a dry race and it looks like we may have three way battle at the front. Casey should improve if it gets a little warmer but he can afford to play it safe with jlo looking bad. This is super sic chance for a win if he stay upright. They better hurry up with the gp11.1 mugello will be here soon.

It was the first dry session for the bike, I think they'll be fine for next year but mugello will be a lot of work. To soon to be worried about the sponsors too we still have plenty of races and testing to go.

Thanx for the credit.

A few questions for PSders.

Will Sic win or bin?

If it rains. BIN

I know they've cleaned up that big oil spill from Thursday, but a heavy rain will bring back the ghost of the spill, leading to lots of crashes.

The operative word here is "was" - as in Rossi was the world champion a few years back. If Yamaha

really needed his services as a former world champ, they would I suppose have ponied up some

extra bucks, but they chose to pay more money to the current World Champ.

Before you start crowing over the fact I answered your email, just know, I looked out of a combination

of boredom and morbid curiousity.

And yes - I'm happy. Not at Rossi's plight, but rather, at the prospect of watching the fanboys squirm.

Karel Hailwood is making it appear that Ducati development is going backwards. The oldest bike is farthest forward. The newest bike is basically at the rear of the grid. Doesn't bode well, but the GP11.1 was not designed with an 800cc engine in mind.

Nice work by Spies.

I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to be a horribly unpleasant affair. Cold, wet, and unpleasant. I think Lorenzo is going to manage the conditions best. Dovi will be a distant second. Stoner a disappointed third. Hayden 4th.

Those will be the only finishers.
<

Do you have any sources to back that up?

So you think they both made this desperate move independently? Or perhaps it was Hayden who forced Stoner? it is clear that they could not let one bike go on wet tires and one on slicks as it would have made the outgoing world champ look even silier

The Ducati is starting to remind me of AIDS. And the only people ever to be cured are Magic Johnson and Casey Stoner.

Funny, but technically Magic has never developed AIDS

By the way, you know what AIDS stands for, dont you?
