Ha and still only 0.2 behind fastest time - if its a dry race the fight with Hairball Spies and CS should be good !

sic had heaps of consistant laptime close to his fastest laps, whereas stoner only did 1 lap near his fastest lap... so in essence race pace stoner is more like 0.4 seconds off.... so alot more cathup to do... a good thing is that i'm pretty sure stoner prefers the hard tire, which maybe necessary for the race for all riders as stoner said the track ate up the tires.
 
Im guessing Stoner was a little hesitant to push the back up bike. If you crash both bikes in Q practice, you have no idea what you will be dealing with on race day. Im guessing the back up bike had a thrashed engine also. Will they rebuild primary bike for tomorrow, or put fresher engine in back up bike.

Stoner needs to add a few kg's to his bike mass. Seems Assen may be a "larger sized Gents" track as both Spies and Simo are. Heavier guys can get the heat into the tyres

So for the day I wonder if Stoner could add some weight?
 
Ducati are well and truly in the .... ! Im starting to wonder if they can afford to spend the money required to get that bike on a par with the Honda and yam. I can now see it getting even worse next year. I can see Ducati pulling out of motogp at the end of next year if they don't get it sorted. No rider will want to ride it and im sure Philip morris will look to put their money elsewhere.

Lets give it some time Rog...if the GP11.1 responds to normal setup changes I'm betting Rossi and Burgess have something to try in the warm up tomorrow that will improve Rossi's pace. Lets not forget Rossi is basically testing a new bike and trying to find the right setup in a very short time frame. I think he'll come good, maybe not this race but they will get the bike there.

Well for ducati's sake i hope your right. If not this could be the begining of the end for them.

Will the GP11.1.46 save Rossi? (I know peeps want to blame Ducati, but I heard last year that Lorenzo was riding Rossis bike, so I think its only fair that we can say the PiG11.1.46 is Rossi's)
