I "watched" the race on live timing. Can someone tell me what the .... was going on. Was it a dry race, did it start dry and go to wet. After 7 laps, it showed everyone except the top 3, 1 lap down. Then it went back to showing them on the lead lap. The lap times looked like dry track at the beginning and maybe slightly wet late.

It was totally dry. Live timing is ......!!!!

Congrats to Ben, now that you have the Gorilla off your back, i expect to see you as a regular on the podium. I predicted he would do well here, since it was the scene of one of his greatest victories, but i figured hew would be celebrating a nice podium position, not THE podium position. Good job Ben

Could have been a tight race not for hair ball breaking it up at the start.

Spies deserved the win but wow... snoozefest

Casey matched Spies till about mid race, where he settled into his own rhythm maybe? Still had the quickest lap i think?

Povol: was a dry race. Very spread out. Quite a few at the back got lapped Akyoshi (sp?) twice i think?

destroying the race of the only real title contender Stoner has left is "spice things up" ?

I was talking about this race specifically with the accident.

At the end of the day Stoner was always going to win the title - Dovisioso is happy to just be on the poduim, and Dani is on the treatment table.

Dry start to finish.

Well done Ben great ride - finally a win by someone from planet earth! 50th Anniversary celebrations for Yam tonight should be fun
<

Smart ride from Stoner did what he had to....never seen him so happy to get second before - I reckon he was pretty sore after yesterday.

Simoncelli WTF! Another Italian torpedo hits its mark
<

Rossi commendable result in 4th - though realistically it would be 7th if not for Simo/JLo/Pedro misfortunes.

CS says congrats to Ben S - "was on it all weekend" well said.

pov - he had it won staright after the 1st lap incident, pulled the gap and went on with it.

Sad inditement on the depleted field though - I mean top 3 lapping riders and Lolli finishs 7th from 2nd last.

As much as I really enjoyed seeing Spies win, MotoGP is looking sick, and Simoncelli, the fucken tool, is not helping.

Seriously, the guy has got to start using his brains.

He's just lucky he has not yet seriously hurt himself or someone else.

Is it just me, or is Ucio looking more and more like a ... ????

Did you even watch the race? How was that a 'torpedo'? If you have nothing smart to say, better not say it, especially looks dumb to quote someone else at the wrong place.

Hayden needs to go home- looses 4 seconds to Lorenzo on the last lap.

Sic is destroying the championship, knocking down Pedrosoa who can challenge Stoner, and now Lorenzo who is a title contender. If he and Lorenzo had been in the mix in the front, the race must have been more interesting. He is fast, but very light headed and cannot be a world champ. He is also helping his pal Rossi by making him looking better by knocking down the fast guys in front of him. He should join Ducati and swap the seat with Nicky. He will be more careful riding Ducati. It is the only way the ..... can learn lesson.

Congrats Ben Spies!

Was there any doubt Sic would .... it up? At least he didn't go apologize for the cameras. (Though I do expect him to do it in private, as it should).

Lorenzo, well done to get some points. (And good on him for not making a fool of himself giving the cameras any fodder.

Rossi, I saw the team clapping, So i guess a 7th 4th place is good? I suppose, it could have been much worse.

Karel, check your bike, they may be sabotaging it. Stop qualling ahead of Rossi.

Nicky, call Tech 3, ask them if they are interested in retaining an American after Edwards leaves. You whole GP careers has been in the shadows of the two divas and darlings of the sport. Smarten up, you will never get ahead until you unshackle yourself.

Cal, ....... bad luck! I wonder when the problem started? Good of him to get back out and notch points.

Randy, oh Randy!

Did you see that camera shot of John Hopkins in the garage? I think he still may have more points than Sic.

Hi Pinky! How are things? Head too dip in your arse?

Congrats Ben, should stick a few quid in your mums pocket.

His mum got him sued to pieces by his former management company. I don't know the details so I'm not trying to pass judgment, but I believe Mary is already quite well paid.

Sooooo typical. Ben wins his first race, but a certain place we all know of, and which should not be mentioned by name for fear of the evil google monster exposing it, is not functioning. What happened to Jorge? Is he having psychological problems or are the tires not working on his chassis variant?

Edit: Nevermind about Jorge, I read the race summary. Good ole' Simoncelli

Cool, so he won straight up, its not going to be one of those, yea, he won a race BUT.
<

No, he was in the lead and never relinquished it. He responded to every challenge of Stoner.

I think Dorna sells a vid pass mid season at a discount. You should get it.
