Argentina - Rnd 3 2015 - SPOILERS (FP, QP & Race)

Great end to the race for Cal.

Its also good to see someone else win instead of Marquez, the last 2 years have been boring. I'd be good to see half a dozen riders on 100+ points towards the end of the season (doubt it'll happen tho)

I think there are more posts today than in the last months :)

I'm viewing spanish tv. I guess Marc will appear in a few minutes to tell his point of view. But I don't expect him to blame Rossi at all for the crash.

They had an interview with him on motogp.com where he doesn't flat out blame Vale but he doesn't seem to think he's at fault.

Yes... I guess a new era in the relationship between both begins here. No more father-son here :)

As a spanish fan, I hope Marc to be more smart than Sete or Stoner were on that matter...

I just watched all the post race press and MM didn't .... talk Rossi at all in my opinion. I actually think he handled himself well. I think MM takes the blame for this and he'll move on. He's going to challenge just fine in the coming weeks. The kid fights hard. Credit for that, some times it works well and other times you end up on your ....

Great race. Does anyone have a theory on what the .... is going on with Lorenzo?

My uneducated theory (ies)... Rossi has taken over the broad strokes direction of the M1 development. I think Lorenzo is still adjusting.

There's also been two weeks of bad luck for him prior to this race. Round 1 he looked VERY competitive, like he could've won that race. Then he said his vision became blocked by helmet padding. Round 2, he said he was ill. I believe it. He wasn't up to snuff physically to win. Round 3 he just didn't nail the setup. Rossi did.

I thought last year was very telling as well though. JL was always clinical, smooth, and constant top performer. He was mentally unflappable. Then I believe losing the Championship by such a close margin in MM's first season got it his head a little. He started pushing. Last season he crashes out and has THE WORST jump start in MotoGP history in the first two races. That was unlike any Lorenzo we'd seen prior.

I thought the set up for the M1 was for JL's riding style?

It has been since 2010, but this year most suspect it's gone to Rossi's for 2015.

P.S. MotoChick is trying to pull you...

Lorenzo has always been quite unstable. In 125 and 250 was usual to do great races and then poor ones.

Maybe a matter of personality, as he always puts a lot of pressure to himself, maybe too much.

Maybe a matter of riding style. He rides the bike in a very classic style, with round corners. Riders like him need a perfect feeling of the bike and tires, what he seems not to have since past year.

"Motochick" is in fact a heavy-set Mexican ex-marine who was the self-proclaimed alpha male on this forum, who doesn't really contribute anymore but seems to lurk and post once in a blue moon under his alter-ego Motochick. He was much beloved by some and hated by more than a few. An interesting guy. Seems like he may have become disenchanted by the whole Moto GP scene as he doesn't seem to post these days. He used to be on this site 24-7.
