I’ll go as usual to the Stats department, and am aware of Dukes extra power on the straights with the upcoming Istanbul and Shangai circuits. But Bridgestone Records on the same tracks from ’05 and ’06 have got a best result of 2nd with Jacque on the wet, other than that ‘No Podiums’! (Top 10 Bridgestone's):
Year - Track - Date - Result - Rider - Manufacturer
2006 - Shanghai - 05/14/06 - 4 - HOPKINS - Suzuki
2006 - Shanghai - 05/14/06 - 8 - CAPIROSSI - Ducati
2006 - Shanghai - 05/14/06 - 9 - GIBERNAU - Ducati
2006 - Shanghai - 05/14/06 - 10 - NAKANO - Kawasaki
2006 - Istanbul - 04/30/06 - 6 - CAPIROSSI - Ducati
2006 - Istanbul - 04/30/06 - 7 - VERMEULEN - Suzuki
2006 - Istanbul - 04/30/06 - 8 - NAKANO - Kawasaki
2005 - Istanbul - 10/22/05 - 5 - CHECA - Ducati
2005 - Istanbul - 10/22/05 - 10 - NAKANO - Kawasaki
2005 - Shanghai - 04/30/05 - 2 - JACQUE - Kawasaki
2005 - Shanghai - 04/30/05 - 7 - HOPKINS - Suzuki
So my guess is:
1 Rossi (Being a worshiper I suppose)
2 Pedrosa (‘Not to beat’ Rossi but ‘aiming for Podiums’ Puig’s Strategy)
3 Melandri (Has won twice but Bridgestone’s records don’t help)
4 Eduards (Getting a bit better than 6th)
PS. It has been bloody ages since last race dam it!
