Idk if it's the red suit or the fact he has a bike he loves to ride once again, but can we all acknowledge that Marc looks about 5 years younger than in 2023?

It also looks as if it's coming very naturally, almost easy to him. No longer a need to make incredible saves after losing the front. He's on rails. Alex is also looking very good.

Let's not overhype, nono. He twitched when front almost let go in Q2, otherwise looking easy.

Did anyone see that close-up shot of Bagnaia? He looks like a defeated man already.
You could see both him and Martin last season in one of the press conferences when they were asked about MM. You could see the looks of defeat on both their faces. They know the Champ is back. I reckon Bagnaia won’t stay at Ducati.

Yes... Only he knows the performances he has been putting in and likely is beginning to realise that with Marc on the other bike, barring injury, he will not be winning another championship.
He’s had it easy for a couple of seasons, hardly any competition and being on the best bike.

Man, MM seems to hardly be breaking a sweat, taking very few risks, super comfortable. And he basically has the same gap to P2, than P2 to P9. That's freaking impressive. And yes, I think Pecco realizes the writing is on the wall, since he knows MM is basically cruising now, and willing to take more risks if needed. It should be obvious to anybody he's the better rider, leading this early, on a new bike for him, AND by this much, and making it look easy. I'm happy for him. He deserves not only another title, but 2 more, to be the undisputed GOAT, since he really is IMO. Also very happy to see he's hardly taking any risks now, minimizing chances of another serious injury. Finally, it's another lesson to younger riders than staying in shape is important in MotoGP, since basically a grandpa by MotoGP standards, is kicking their arses. Ha ha.

I'm finally going to see a session live. I'm caught up on the MotoGP qualifying in non-real time, but won't have time to check out Moto2 and Moto3 qualifying until later.

Marc looked, in the end, untouchable in qualifying. I don't have any reason to believe that he'll have any less of an advantage in the race.

Zarco was an absolute star in qualifying. The Honda has improved, but I think that most of what we saw today was down to Zarco, I believe.

Bagnaia may be fighting for the podium, but maybe he can get one of his excellent starts.

A bit disappointing that Ogura is so far back. I expect him to move forward in the main race, with more experience.

Yeah, Marc's story this year is taking on 2011 vibes. Return of the Jedi. Long season, and the early rounds always seem a bit anomalous, but he's looking good. We'll see how he executes on race days with uncertain weather.

Marquez siblings are stretching out leaving Bagnaia to try and hold onto third. If MM93 suddenly quit MotoGP now, would Alex M become the favourite. OK, I know it's only part way through the first sprint race.

My prediction: very well.
