I thought it was interesting that they mentioned MM likes the lowest amount of engine braking out of any of the Ducati riders opting to use the rear brake.

Kind of terrifying since that's Stoner or Doohan level stuff.

Good race overall. Glad they showed more of the midfield compared to yesterday's sprint.

Too bad Zarco couldn't hold position on the final lap since he really rode a hell of a race on the Honda. Hopefully the Honda continues to improve.

Bezzecchi with another torpedo effort on the first corner. Will be curious to see what he says about that one.

Ogura is definitely looking like the best rookie once again at a track he wasn't familiar with.

I think MM while having a couple of moments is pretty much f*cking with the field entirely. Pecco finished 6 seconds down on him. That's an eternity. Yeah eventually there will be closer racing between the two I would think, but Pecco's body language looks like .... IMO. Don't think this is going to be helping him mentally at all to know he can't get close over distance. I mean at least he is just riding his race instead of crashing out trying to play catch-up.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Alex joins him in the factory next season.

Pecco once again taking a disapproving look at his rear tire in the box. Looks like he always has problems with defective tires that end up going to him

He'll blame anything under the sun for his bad performances.

While the most successful rider to date on the Ducati, he has the worst possible teammate in the modern era. I can't imagine knowing you have to try and beat MM every weekend on this bike. Well and now his little brother.

There is always something outside of his technical ability that gets in Pecco's way. What a coincidence.

It's a faulty tire, it's the setup that isn't perfect (and he has to get some parts from the old model to get the feeling back), it's the track that isn't the best for his riding style... Meanwhile, other Ducatis with less experience than him in the machinery are coming out ahead.

He needs to wake up. And fast.

Pecco is the weakest two-time champion in MotoGP history.
He was fully empowered by riding the best bike on the grid, and not by technical ability. Sure, he's a good guy, a good rider. But he's not an extraordinary talent.

Another important point that could complement my initial comment and that goes hand in hand with your comment:

The current generation (especially Pecco and Martin) has not been tested against the great talents of the "past era".
We saw Lorenzo once comment to Martin: "With this bike I would be much faster than you" (or something like that).

Pedrosa recently made a wild card and got a podium on a KTM. In a full season and without injuries, he would be in good competition with this Ducati. Not to mention Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner.

We are seeing Marc monopolizing pole, sprint, race, fastest lap and other records. VERY easily.
More performances like this will end up lowering even more the feeling that Pecco and Martin would be close to these extra-classes.

Maybe history will only summarize them as good riders on excellent equipment.
We will see.

MM was playing that whole race...pass, instant .5 seconds

Trying to be a showman isnt really him imo.

Bagnaia hinting that he may be back to a base GP24 spec for COTA (what Alex has now basically) because he's not finding the feeling he needs with the current iteration of the GP24.9/7/whatever

Oh dear, Trackhouse using 5hithouse tricks! 😳
Uh Oh, swear words getting edited out now. Less fun to be had now! 😔
