24 Honda is 8 kilos lighter; "we would very likely have retained Marc Marquez"

‘24 Honda is 8 kilos lighter; "we would very likely have retained Marc Marquez”

Sadly a case of too little, too late. Marc has been asking them to do this for the last 2 years and I feel, like many, that when he rode the 2024 prototype (that wasn't anything like the bike at the post season test) he felt they still hadn't done anything.

I keep hearing podcasts and reports bigging up the Honda like it's suddenly going to be running closer to the front next yr. I'm sorry, I don;t buy it. At least not at the moment. Mir said the bike was an improvement but Marquez also said when he was following it on the Ducati, that he could see some of the core issues remained.

I'm open to being wrong of course.

The new VR46 look is a downgrade imo. Gotta make the sponsors happy i guess

The color scheme on those VR bike isn't bad, just the lines...

Looks like a piss rocket? Gotta sell the brand I guess.

Imo the worst thing aren't the bikes themselves, but the riders' leathers. Awful. Even Bezzecchi knows it:

On related news, Uccio says they want to pen a deal with Ducati until 2026 and that it should be finalized in some weeks. So much for the VR/Yamaha connection.

Don't worry, Marco will be re-arranging the bodywork in the gravel traps a plenty.
I still find it hilarious that the BRAND AMBASSADOR for Yamaha, absolutely refuses to run Yamaha's for his team. What a ....... joke.

Perhaps, but Yamaha's lack of results with one of the best riders on the grid is not exactly an easy sale if they are indeed interested in fielding more of an underwhelming race bike.

Not a question of an easy sale imo. Rossi is taking the money Yamaha are paying him as a brand ambassador and yet he is choosing to run Ducatis. The latter is fine, but don't be a brand ambassador for another manufacturer.

New warning and disclaimer to be added to the MotoGP.com video pass: "Warning, some of the images contained herein have been known to cause seizures when viewed by certain individuals. Consult your physician prior to obtaining this video pass."

When the VR46 bikes line up next to the Trackhouse bikes on the grid, people could die.
