Bezz's time have been ..... .... him.
He's not happy at all with the GP23:

Asked if he’s satisfied, Bezzecchi said: “No. for the moment no. Yesterday I felt a little bit better. Today we struggled more and lost the way trying many things.

“We decided to come back and restart but still I’m not feeling very good on the bike.

“The bike has a different engine and different way to stop. I struggle a lot stopping compared to my old bike and I don’t trust the front the same way.

“I struggle to put power to the ground as well. The engine works differently so overall I’m struggling on entry and exit.

“We will find a way to improve. It is only the first test.”

Bezzecchi finished day three of the Sepang test in 17th spot - 1.3 second down on reigning two-time world champion Francesco Bagnaia.
Bezzecchi said the issues adapting to the 2023 bike began in Valencia, although he was able to mask over the problems with a good timme attack performance later in the day.

“Yes, already in Valencia I noticed this problem,” added Bezzecchi. “For one lap I was quite competitive because with new tyres you have more grip and more confidence, but I saw that I was struggling a bit.

“Here, I struggled a lot more. The track had a lot of grip and the track condition was unbelivable.

“Having so much grip, you try more and more and more to go faster, but it’s normal to get to a point where you want even more but you can’t.”

This evaluation of Rossi as "greatest" essentially boils down to - Most Charismatic, making him not "The Goat" but rather the most well-known entertainer in the 4-stroke MotoGp era. Objectively (or subjectively) over the course of the different eras in the sport, there have been others who were just as or even more influential to the sport, including Mike Hailwood, Agostini, Roberts, Barry Sheene (who was universally beloved by fans from all countries), Spencer, Schwantz, Lawson etc. - all of whom raised the bar, and depending which set of metrics, were in their own way, giants in the sport. The perception of Rossi as the GOAT - is a shallow one promoted by people who've only been following the sport since 1997.
That's the reason I said "modern MotoGP". hehe.

Not looking good for Yamaha. I hope Fabio is at least getting paid well.

I can't see him being at Yamaha for 2025. His problem will be if Rins beats him.

It was unrealistic for Honda and Yamaha to turn things around so soon. We'll see how much they can improve under the new concessions system. Another thing is if Fabio is willing to wait.

Marc did plenty of laps and had reasonable pace on old tyres as I read it.
Yep he aint going to ride away from everyone but it appears he will still have pace over race distance.
I also read that he is already very fast into a corner but needs to work on corner exit.
He will be there imo.
It will be harder as the 24 Duc improves but he will also have more time on the bike and be improving himself as per the Lorenzo analogy he used.
Looking forward to it!

Tough crowd. 🤣
I respect all MotoGP riders, except one. They are all warriors and even when I ..... about riders like Vinales not stepping up, I'm still aware they are faster than 99.99% of riders on the planet, but MotoGP is supposed to be the best of the best.

Bezzechi though. He crossed a line when he decided to make his identity as someone who continues the Marquez VR46 feud. He has denied it, but it is rumored that he said to Marquez after Valencia that he wishes his arm break had been career ending.

As someone who came back from injury to enjoy my sport, not even 1% near the level Marc has, I have nothing but disgust for Marco Bezzechi now.

Mdub is correct in his assertion.

Exactly right. As much as I joke about crashes and other ...., I wish harm or injury on no rider. On nobody for that matter. So for him to say what he did is unthinkable. Then to hear Marc talk about the rider code when an injured rider is down after going to the aid of Franco last weekend shows how all racers should behave. It also makes me think of Dani Pedrosa. He was shook after Marco passed away because of the way he treated him after Lemans. You don't want to end up with that kind of regret. I know it changed Dani.

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving ....
I am no fan either, but he is fast and I suspect will work it out eventually. As has been said I am not sure the GP23 ls better than the GP23, Bagnaia wadn’t overly enamoured initially last season as I recall.

Talking of Ducati. How ...... is Morbidelli?! He's going to miss both the preseason tests and his first experience of the GP24 (he had a GP23 Valencia) will be in FP1 at Qatar.

Better then the GP22 I meant obviously.

It is heavily debatable whether he is greater than Marquez who may have one less title but had stronger competition and more machinery parity for his 6 titles.
