I think the conditions were worse than on the Sunday when they didn't race at all at Silverstone a few years ago.

The track was awash in places and the visibility looked dreadful, it must have been even worse through a wet visor. Hard to know how windy it is, but I'm approx 120 miles south of there, and well out of the eye of the storm, but it's blowing a gale here as well as pissing it down.

I'm not sure I want to watch a sprint in these conditions and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they cancelled it.
It looked much dryer during the Electricians' race. I read somewhere that it was supposed to be dry for the sprint.

The wet qualifying seems to have changed what the qualifying order was likely to be, not unexpected. From a manufacturer viewpoint the grid looks typical of recent GP's with a bit of change to the rider order.

My prediction is that it will be unpredictable especially if it remains wet.

Not bad. A bit of intrigue with a new winner, and an Aprilia on the podium. Hoping for some intrigue tomorrow as well. I guess unseasonable temperatures and inconsistent rain make things a bit more interesting.

Bezz is always there rain or shine. He's a very consistent rider. You've got to figure that will translate into a championship or two at some point.

Marquez on top of the podium again, just not Marc. Very decent sprint for the viewer, with plenty of overtakes and tension. The Japanese manufacturers need more than concessions, what a terrible display. Bezzechi gaining valuable points against a very anonymous Bagnaia. Aprilia having a resurgence. The real race tomorrow, we'll see how the weather shenanigans affect it.

Hell yea! Congrats A. Marq. Hopefully this what he needed to get in the grove. He could finish this season strong.

My memory is ..... but hasn't Alex had a few DNFs this year that were none of his doing? If my memory on that is correct, he could be having a pretty good year. I would like to see him running up front more often.

Fabio: "Well, I'm starting dead last so screw it. I'll phone this one in."

These commentators are seriously annoying. Can't shut up for one second.
Looks like they are here to say for me in Aus.

He has and add today to the list.

Wow, what a crazy race. Best of the season so far?

Bagnaia will be disappointed but he shouldn't, given he strengthens his championship lead with today's race. The Aprilias worked like a charm here. Props to Binder too, valiant race in a venue where the rest of the KTMs struggled.

Congrats goes out to Pecco who exceeding track limits on the last lap rule doesn't apply. Just like being punished for drunk driving. There is clear video of him on the green. Once again race direction only directs the direction of the race in favor of .........

I thought it was marginal but he didn't step on the green. Then again I need to watch some replays.
