6 wins here for Marquez
1 for for Rins

Now of never?

Ducatis love this track. Will Bags break the hearts of Marquez fans three-in-a-row?

I see either Bags or Rins taking this-Miller will podium

I am pulling for a changing of the guard. Fabs or Bags.

Would Love a Bags win followed by a 4th win of his to give Fabio something to worry about.

I want Marc to become the GOAT in all honesty but not by winning random races, that will make honda think even more that there is no real problem with the bike, Happy to see him 4rth or podiuming taking points from Fabio.

Ain't starting a new thread, apologies,. Sick of these kids dying. Love the sport but don't think I love it enough.

Always was, always will be. It’s a cycle, like all of life.

It’s tough. When this happens people say, “Well at least he died doing what he loved to do.” And it really isn’t any comfort, not when it’s someone so young who misses out on the rest of his life.

Marquez needs a win here, badly.

I don't think he needs a win that badly tbh.

It would be nice, but I think he realizes that what it takes to get the RC213V on the top step of the podium means possibly crashing out of the race to maintain frontrunner pacing. While he's done quite well at COTA historically save for 2019, the two problem sections are the esses and then the triple right-handers of turns 16-18. I don't seem him getting through those 2 sections as well as he did in bygone years. FQ will be like a knife cutting through butter in the sweepers...Bagnaia might as well considering how he's riding currently. Podium might be possible for MM, but I'm not expecting anything outside of a top 5 finish at best.

Rain all weekend predicted here in Austin. Will make for an interesting race. I’ll be in my rain suit at the track that’s for sure.

So you are saying positively Marc for the Win...

I sure hope not. That would be almost as bad as the Hamilton nonsense--

I was a fan of F1 since the mid-80s. but not any more. I can't stand to watch the non-stop parades, with usually Hamilton leading, uncontested. Granted, this year Max is challenging.

MotoGP is SOOOO much more interesting and competitive!

It's taken you this long?

Anyway, welcome!

Looks like it’s going to be dumping rain all weekend. Is this going to affect the race in any way?
