sorry, no idea. i just read it in a short interview he did for speedweek.com.
IDM is in a very sad state so its not like there's a ton of glory, let alone money, to be chased there. plus he's huge in the US and virtually unknown here since he joined ama so my guess would be he stays where he has name recognition and a financial incentive to race.
I'll try to find and translate it, it was something along the lines of him being very pessimistic and mentioning road racing in general as a plan b.

If he wanted to go road racing, AMA would likely be his best bet, I could see him getting a little backing from American Honda or perhaps a few dealers, because he would have some name recognition. but in North America Supercross is way more popular then road racing or any other form of motorcycle racing, and the money is there for him in Supercross.

....... mud race. Ruins the spectacle.

great comedic value though.

glad its back on Fox sports. Last few rounds have not been televised.

Musquin took the win. Tomac second. Anderson down in first corner started dead last in first lap, then had to change front wheel because of broken spokes in first corner incident. Championship down to final race. Anderson still leading but points gap cut in half to 14 points. . Hope Anderson can hold out, he's been dominant this year, though my prediction before race 1 was musquin for the title. . Going to be epic at Vegas next week.

Musquin gave this championship away back in Houston, but suddenly in the last few weeks Anderson has looked sub par and the championship has started to fall towards Musquin. Vegas is always a good round, this will just add to the hype.

Final race of the season.

All divisions open.

In 450's Jason Anderson requires a minimum 8th position to close out Marvin the Martian Musquin. Anderson will be a worthy winner, but he's prone for errors. Marvin is going to go all out. Haven't seen track map yet so hard to see whom it favours.

250 West Aaron Pessinger requires a 7th position to lock out ciancarulo on the kawasaki. I'm rooting for ciancarulo.

250 East title chase down to zach Osborne with Smith his nearest. A 9th position finish locks up the title for Zach.

Every year I start to watch supercross as it begins before the GP season and mostly I drift off half way. This year I've watched most races.

I'm stoked on how it ended.

I'm a huge Tomac fan, but Anderson has just been too good this year and he deserved that #1 plate 100%.

In 250s I am happy AC92 got his first SX win of the year at the very last round, kudos to Osborne and Plessinger for clinching the 2 coasts, both super deserved as well.
