With the 2018 season just around the corner, and while MotoGP is off, thought I would start a poll to see who everyone is predicting to win the 450 championship this season. With Dungee retiring there is no returning champion this season, so who's it going to be???

I'm all Tomac but I'm stoked on the return of Roczen. I've been following his recovery on instagram. I hope he comes back strong. He seems like the type that will. He seems ultra-motivated.

Roczen looked unbeatable at the start of last season, had he not had the injury then I think he would have been champion. Now the Injury makes him sort of a wild card, I am going to pick him.

should Blake Baggett have been on the list? he did finish 3rd in the outdoor season (just 2 points behind Marv)

No, Baggett is and always has been a much better MX rider than SX. I think he will do better this year than past years but he will not be in the hunt.

Marvin did very well at the MOnster Cup obviously but one thing that track didn't have was Marv's achilles heel, a whoops section.

IMO, Ken and Eli will be the guys this year, I think Ken's style is more likely to win him the title than Eli's "beast mode" style. One race I'd take Eli, the guy has super-human abilities on a bike, but over 17 rounds I think 2018 is Roczen's year.

Marvin has had a good "off" season, winning the monster cup, straight rhythm and European supercross events, but he didn't really face anyone on his level (tomac crashed out at monster cup). that should do well for his confidence, plus KTM has a new bike for him and he has the full support of Roger Decoster. If he can figure out those whoops, he may be the man to beat!

What no love for 22? errr I mean CR22?

.... him. He's no longer relevant. He had it good and tossed it all over his bitch. He had a great team around him until she whispered in his ear and told him to start his own team. He's been worthless since

A1 reminded me of the Janet Jackson superbowl halftime show. The only big moment was a wardrobe malfunction. Roczen is using fox's magnetic visor and that flew off. But what the .... alpinestar? I have fallen and broken the old plastic style pant buckle many times. They should have had r&d on that since the 80's. Reminds me of the HJC visor incident.

I have never had a buckle fail, and they do require some effort to un-buckle, which makes me wonder if it was even buckled at all... Is Tomac's season over???

Barcia was a big surprise, podium finish as a substitute

I have fallen on my side and it strips the plastic teeth on the buckle strap. It just pulls so hard on the waist line that the plastic strips. Thats what it looked like happened to him. When they showed him trying to refasten them, it looked like the old school kind I always used to have that issue with. His season will be fine.

Tomac blew his race after pulling over to make sure his tramp stamp stayed hidden.
Didn't expect much from Rocxen since it was his first race with the skywalker arm. Glad to see he kept himself up near the front. It will come back but the question is will he be strong enough.
Moose was impressive but if Elly doesn't crash Im not sure he had the pace.
It's great to see 22 looking more and more irrelevant. I don't know why he's still around. It's embarrassing. He was a top guy that had the respect of his peers and now he's the unwanted laughingstock. Dude just go away

Roczen didnt have the best start in the main, made a few mistakes early, but once he found his groove he was able to cut through the field... as for Musquin, Houston will be more of a test for him, lot more whoops to deal with!!!
