Fenati should have his race license revoked.
Or the other option is lets hope Manzi hands it to him from now on, much as Marquez has handed it to rossi since Sepang 2015.
Fenati should have his race license revoked.
One more thing: Misano and Assen are Yamaha and Rossi's two strongest tracks. Even without the seamless gearbox, he has always been strong at these tracks since his return to Yamaha. His lack of competitiveness here means that the situation at Yamaha is quite grave.

2 race ban for Fenati.
Nowhere near long enough.
Fenati's behaviour today was the most egregious example of endangering another rider I have seen in 25 years of watching world level racing. A two race ban is frankly, a joke.
There seems to be an argument that Manzi's race craft leading up to today's incident (not limited to today's events) was a compelling factor in his total loss of control (cue Jorge Lorenzo) but the fact of the matter is this was an example of a rider totally out of control of his emotions with potentially disastrous consequences, with a temperament ill suited to such a dangerous sport, and willing to do anything in order to exact his completely unjustified revenge.
The dark irony of the matter is that a young rider in the same class tragically lost his life at this very track only a few short years ago. And at a track renamed in the memory of another rising star who lost his life riding and risking his life for our entertainment. What a truly classless and careless way to sully the memories of individuals who risked life and limb for our enjoyment and both of whom sadly paid the greatest of prices to do so.
It's my hope he isn't allowed to darken these grids again.
I didn't see this incident, but it would seem similar to something I did see live from Sofoglu in a supersport race a few years back.p

Good. Sacked by this year's employers and contract getting pulled by next year's. Couldn't happen to a more worthy person.https://kwsn.com/news/articles/2018/sep/10/motorcycling-mv-agusta-boss-vows-to-drop-fenati-after-moto2-ban/
Looks like its bye bye Romano.

I'm just surprised it came down to the 2 teams making this decision and not the powers that be.

He hasn't yet been sacked for 2018 and the 2019 talk has not yet been confirmed.
It also shows that the guy did not learn from his previous dismissal from VR46 racing (full credit that team for taking the action, now for the current team to follow suit)

Perhaps he's taking a Romano Holiday.
