Great lap by Miller and by Maverick, but nobody was going to come even close to the Spartan's lap. The Red Mamba laid the gauntlet down too early by breaking the previous record that he had also set.... with everyone else riding around so painfully slow he actually felt sorry for the crowd and went back out there and broke his own record again just to keep the crowds excitement and interest up.

This season is really showing the difference between the Honda and the Ducati, without Marquez I wonder if we would be saying the Yamaha is better than the Honda as well.
People can say what they like about Lorenzo, but man, he is so purely showing that 2017 was an aberration and also showing just how perfect these machines need to be in order to get the results.
Since he had the fuel tank change the guys has been unstoppable and is back to his metronomic best.
Sure, it is only practice but his race results have been very good of late and seems to have shut a few people up, and bought a box of kleenex to others

Fookin' brilliant that all that work by Ducati has been realized as a machine regularly on the podium - took a while but worth waiting for. Too bad Yamaha’s dropped the ball.
