2011 sx season

Just watched the Lites class, and it came out about the way I expected...Barcia and Wilson with Barcia taking the top spot. If both of those guys keep the rubber side down they will lap most of the field this year with their speed.

What about Malcolm Stewart, Bubba's little brother making the main in his first race. He doesn't have the pace to stay up front, but he gated well and had he finished the main, I think he could have possibly been top 10.

Tough luck award goes to Wharton.

Welcome to the lost boys thread Trav. I may be wrong but I don't recall you posting here. Another derelict to the mix is much appreciated.

What a wild race. In every championship I believe that every rider gets alloted 1 DNF or bad finish and still be able to recover. I hate to see Stewart go out like that but there is still time to recover and for Villo to have his bad day.

Sucks for windham. I hope he's all right. One thing for sure, none of the head honchos at Honda are dyslexic. I can never figure out if Windham(14) is Canard(41) or if Canard is Windham.

Is there anything better than watching Stewart,Dungey or Villopoto get a bad start and watch them rip thru the ranks. Last week was Dungey and this week was Villo. They make everyone else look like amateurs.

Jumkie I know you have disagreed with me about Dungeys state of mind this year but right now he's got to be reeling. He's yet to beat Villo or Stewart head to head in defense of his championship and now is unable to beat the rookie.

Crashfeast. I thought James had learned to be patient, but he hasn't. Crashing into slower rider put him 9 points down. In this stupid point system, that just put a grip of pressure on him to win.

Everybody was rooting for the "old man" Windham. He had 40 plus friends and family there. What a way not to deliver. Too bad, he just need one more win to make it an even 20 for his career.

Canard and Dungey have given us a couple of great battles this year. Dungey being beaten twice at the line should be frustrating. Villow .... start was handled smartly and got very important podium points.

Lites

I had to catch up, I hadn't seen the lights since Dodger stadium. Hahaha, what a crash feast. But was very exciting. Ok, fastforward to this weeks Lites race. Barcia looks out of control. This was a fun battle to watch. Both looked very aggressive and at times looked to bin it. Good stuff.

Barcia is the new Beast from the East, and he like the former Beast from the East (Damon Bradshaw) is out of control but fun as hell to watch. Barcia and Wilson look head and shoulders fasterer than anyone else in the East series at the moment, but I would like to think Blake Wharton could ride their pace, the Texan has had some bad luck lately and unfortunately continued in Houston.

man i'm sorta glad that this thread only appeals to the hardcore few so i don't have to wade thru so many useless rossi ... kissin replies! new job is really cuttin into my time...anyhow some really great racing especialy the lites class. barcia is a wildman & as all have said him & wilson are heads & tails above the rest... and that includes wharton L8. no way is he up with barcia & wilson. dungey needs to get more aggressive he seems to pussyfoot around when trying to pass someone. he needs to take the get the .... outa my way approach of the other 4. it's gonna be between stewart & villapotto at this rate methinks.

Looks like the race will be on Speed tonight (sat) at 10:30est. So I'm assuming we've got a live race.

You can always guarantee that Stewart will have a race like that in a championship. Like a true champion though he will come back and win the next few. Great watching RV slice through the field. Dungy is becoming a disappointment to me. He needs to dump Jesus and get some Devil in him. Supercross is no place to be nice! I think those KTM's will be on the money by the end of the season. Maybe with Roczon they can win one next season as Short and Alessi do not have wins in them.

Well I didn't watch the race live last night, but just finished watching it a few minutes ago....first...what's with all the fcking rain in Southern California?

First and foremost....Tomac! Hell yea, was glad to see that young man stand on the top step and he did it going away...he's the future!

450 race...ugg....I guess it is what it is. Stewart rode conservative and brought it home on the podium, and Villopoto rode his one fendered ... off to keep the championship points lead.

More later, guess I'm going to watch the Dayboring 500 now.

boy needs some aggression!

Holy ...........Reed you ....! Thanks for handing it to Villopoto....geez...I'm going to drink some more beer.

Reed had no intention on passing. He knew he lost and only looked to crash James. ....... coward.

How far is Jeff Emig up Reed's ...?

Way for Canard to drop back down the field.

I lost count of lapped riders after 10.

Dungey is a nice guy, they seldom win, but thats what i like about them to a degree. When they win, u know it wasnt an Evander Holyfield moment fir which Reed has resorted.

The announcing booth was just as cowardly as Reed. They didnt call it like the complete gutless move that Reed did and ruin a best man to the win finish. (Yet Emig last week jumped all over Hanson, saying his move was unsportman like).

Lastly, Villow said sometimes not the fastest man wins. Good for him to acknowledge; and added, sometimes the smartest wins. Haha. True, but check it again, Reed parked his bike infront of James while he was already done with turn and moving forward. What can u do when ur on the track with a cowardly guy willing to bite ur ear off in a moment childhood tantrum?

Jum's I agree, no way was that a pass, and I screamed and hollered at the TV. RV acknowledged he wasn't fast. I don't know if I would call riding in 3rd being smart, he was just lucky, and that's why I think he could walk away with the title this year.

In the Lites, Wharton was making me look good then made a mistake, thought I would get to come on here and give Frost some hell...lol With Barcia's wrist messed up and very little time to heal, Wilson might walk away with the East series??

Daytona next!

not that anyone really cares because he's a non-contender, but the rumor is my boy Stroupe was fired by Vali Motorsports....bummer.

Was the outcome really a surprise. Gutless coward racing his limit and still not fast enough takes a page from "what if I never tried" and runs rival off the track. You knew it was coming. What disturbs me the most is that Gutless has more speed than everyone but Stewart. Let's hope that doesn't continue.

Reed seems more intent on putting Stewart in the dirt than winning. His idiotic move cost him 1 if not 2 spots. Stewart has to learn that he can't race him. He has to check out and stay way ahead of him.

My friend who doesn't watch racing called me today and said he watched the race. I asked him what he thought and he said what was that guy doing? He wasn't trying to turn. It looked like he was trying to wreck the other dude.

So it doesn't even take a trained eye to see Reeds ......... Its a shame because even though I'm a Villo fan I want to see him beat Stewart without any mitigating circumstances. I know championships are won this way but I would much rather see them won in a weekly battle royale.

It was a good dice for a while with Stewart and Reed. Just sucks that one guy has class and the other is a underhanded ......... Otherwise we might have seen a pretty good finish. What happened to Stewart at the stripe. He must have been so pissed he lost focus because Reed snuck right by him.

Jesus heavy has become faster than Jesus lite. WTF is going on with lite this year?

Anyway I was happy that the best man won:)

Spot on JK, great post.

Villow rode smart. He was very close to the lead anyway, and in view of the two in the lead. Perhaps he knew Reed would resort to being Reed and just wanted to let it unfold. And it did. Good for Ryan, smart enough to stay out of trouble and knowing his competition well enough that getting in a dice would have provoked Reed to have an Evander Holyfield moment. Now he sits in a great spot for the title. Going to Daytona, where he crushed everybody last year. He may still win this one yet on his own results.

reed.... what a ......!

that was the yell out loud moment! the racing sure has been spetacular this season so far!

Dude, give me an afternoon with Wharton and he wouldn't do that again. It's all there, but like you say, mentally weak. He needs to stay healthy because this could be the year he gets over that mental hurdle with his racing.

Gunnery Sgt L8Braker to Wharton: Are you quitting on me? Well, are you? Then quit, you slimy ....... walrus-looking piece of ....! Get the .... off of my obstacle! Get the .... down off of my obstacle! NOW! MOVE IT! Or I'm going to rip your balls off, so you cannot contaminate the rest of the world! I will motivate you, Private Wharton, IF IT SHORT-DICKS EVERY CANNIBAL ON THE CONGO!
