I'm happy to see we've added another member to the SX thread. It seems this thread is only reserved for the upper echelon of the forum.
What a great race and for a moment there I thought Villo would start attempting a pass...right at the moment he crashed. I think James didn't look as spectacular as his old self seeing Villo shadowing him like that, its a rear sight to see anybody keeping up with Stewart. JohnnyK mentioned the track and possibly being slippery, perhaps this was the reason both were being tentative? Not sure, but for sure they didn't seem they were either charging the corners. Maybe they are now both aware that crashing is a sure way to end ones season?
So, congrats to James, he wasn't as fast as I'm use too, but then again, he still won and I'm sure he still has a bit of cobwebs left in the system. Congrats to Villo, this should be a big confidence boost, as shadowing James is something I don't think I've seen anybody done for as many laps. Kudos to Canard, he's for real. Kudos to Dungey, he is showing that he was not a fluke champion, yeah he didn't podium, but he was there, and would have beat read had it not been for that unfortunate pile up (not his fault). Oh, and .... Reed. Looks and sounds like .... as always.
Ok, about the TC question. I'm a Bubba fan, but his response was worse than bush league. C'mon James, get your head out of ... when asked questions that you should know are coming. Erin wasn't trashing your win, she was just asking what everybody was wondering, is TC the next step in MX. "I think you saw a piece of dirt or something." WTF kinda response is that?
Oh, and go team Jesus. He's managed to put two wins together in Lites and two podiums with Canard.
If Villow and Stewart continue improving, absent any crashes or injuries, will turn out to be an epic season, one for the record books (I hope I just didn't jinx it.)
