heh.............looms like they got a media comp involved with this, so if they are worth their salt they will stick to the disclaimer they presented when adding my details (emails will not be sold, distributed etc etc).
Eurosport said they got 15k names, so thats a good start (assuming some were duff contact details) to build up a monthly/weekly email newsletter, getting their sponsors infront of more punters.
I do this in the day job, maybe I should drop them a line
