Blinding race, I hear that Sete lost somthing from his boot exsposing his toe or somthing??? thats why he dropped back a bit the big tart!!!

Great duel between Cappa and Rossi, Stoner is back to crashing, and a quiet but nice solid ride from NH

And everyone must have seen Mr Cheating Schumacher on the back of the 2 seat Duke....

They didnt say anything about the bike wobbling, i bet its just Setes usual self

The Ducati's were really quick down the home-straight and in the slip-streaming, poor old Rossi nearly got swallowed by Loris a few times.

absolutely unbeleivable racing there, proud of the respect between loris and vale, thats sportsman ship at its best, but what about marco taking on nicky?!?!

A fantastic race.
The surprice to day was Hayden, not only staying 10m behind the two in front, but actually participating in the dogfight in the last laps with two Italians on their home track. In my eyes that is one step closer to a real championship contender.

Hardly ever seen Rossi so happy, and again winning by pure will. Underpowered compared to both the Honda and the Ducati he passed (as ususall) where nobody but he find openings. Absolutly beautiful.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (rickyduck @ Jun 4 2006, 11:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>what does Kudos mean anyway? (Not to you alex, to somedamnwriter)

I don't know the exact meaning of the word, or even if it has an exact meaning but "kudos" is a word that we use (especially in journalism, but not exclusively to it) to mean things like "good luck" or "congrats" or "great job!" depends on when you say it. Of course, if it's before the event, you're wishing the person good luck, and if it's post event it's a congratulatory word.

Did I answer your question?

loved it!

was almost drooling over the TV ... i want one.

Great race really enjoyed it, but very predictable.

Sete led the race and then suprisingly backs off. Is it true about the toe. Damn I wish we could see the interviews with the other riders after the race.

Rossi had to win and really showed he is back.

Best part of the race for me, Melandri's move on Hayden, it was like ha this should be easy, then the comeback from Hayen holding his line, Melandri pushing it wide, Hayden was like I don't think so. I bet Melandri wasn't expecting that. Hayden is getting better thats for sure.

The Rossi fans are happy now

Rossi is one of the greatest, and is the greatest right now. I think most people root for the underdog, but deep inside they love Rossi. He shows that you don't need the best to win. Loris too....

Best race of the year so far, Phooey (my mrs) and I were trembling on the last few laps willing Rossi on, so relieved he won . The dukes looked really good in that paint, how long before someone sprays their 999 in those colours? Roll on Donington!

Everything about the race has been said, I can't add much. I was thinking the same Babelfish, there aren't too many non Italian riders who have been able to hang with, much less fight the top Italians at their home track. The Kentucky Kid is growing ever more dangerous. The Ducs looked nice, I liked Gibbers' special leathers and Cappers' special helmet, although I wish he would have worn special edition leathers like Gibbers did. Rossi's helmet was very cool.

Oh, Gibbers' toe slider came off so he couldn't achieve as high a lean angle as he would have liked.

Underpowered? The M1`s not underpowered. The ZX-RR is underpowered. The D`antin Ducatis are underpowered. Not the M1. Sure it might be a few horses short of the Duc or the RCV, but if it was that bad, Rossi wouldn`t be able to hold on to the lead anywhere evecpt the corners. And whatever it lacks in top end grunt it makes up for in power delivery and handling. Having the M1 up against the RCV and the Ducati isn`t a disadvantage, especially for Rossi. If the had won on the GSV, that would be an uneven match, but the reality is it was a battle between riders on very similar level bikes.

And that Duc paint job was sweet. Note the silver. Very hot. Now imagine the Suzuki`s draped in that metallic colour with Rizla decals. Then look at a photo of the blue monster and tell me it`s not ugly in comparison. Silver`s such a tougher colour than baby blue. The Repsol boys and Rossi are laughing as they lap Hopper and CV, thinking ".......".

usual sete yep. Usual Sete who wobbles so much he smashes out the fastest qualy times, usualy Sete who never gets noticed for doing anything good anymore, and just gets slagged by Rossi and his fans when somthing goes wrong or he stuffs up
