Race 1
Firstly, I was so glad to see it was a dry race, I'm getting tired of wet racing lately. Record lap times were put in, which is great considering they did not have any dry time during qualifying. Outstanding performance by Haga in both races. Corser also looked good on the Yamaha, but as always, he plays it conservative and doesn't take much risk. Great ride by Biaggi in front of the home crowd, good to see him bring that satellite Ducati to a podium in front of the factory Ducati's. But I felt let down when he didn't attempt to pass Haga towards the end.
Race 2
Oh my god, what a terrible accident at the start. It looks like Biaggi collided with Corser or Haga as they came across. Watching Biaggi fishtail like that was scary. Glad he and Sofuglu didn't get hurt terribly bad. Another fine performance by Haga, almost flawless to the end. Bayliss, what the hell man, you had the championship in the bag, strange low side that he had. Solid ride for Corser again on the Yamaha, but again, not much risk taking. Fabrizio had a great ride, to pick up a gifted 2nd.
