Then use links from here. I watched super pole last night. Admittedly the commentary was french but it was live.

Yeah I just used a proxy somewhere in Korea or something. Worked good.

If you compare the face time that Spies got in PI to Losail it's night and day. I guess they finally got a clue who the man to beat is. I wonder what Haga is thinking? It's going to be real hard to kick back on his lead and watch Spies race. I think he is due for some mistakes if Spies can apply the pressure.

One thing, why does Spies always have to mention tht there is a lot of fast guys everytime he speaks. Is he really blown away and surprised at how tight the field is? I think it's a way to phsyche himself up so that he pushes harder. Like this is the challenge of his life. But it really is getting quite annoying. I know that there are fast guys out there, why do you have to keep saying it.

That was pretty amazing. Haga looked more than a bit concerned just after the race. Looks like this will turn out to be a duel for the championship...

Aprilia did great with 3rd and 4th.

Absolutely cool and measured performance by spies, during the race and even in the post-race interview. Ducati, aprilia et al better get to work improving their bikes, because it looks as though spies has more than enough talent, and is not likely to be susceptible to pressure.

Im watching superpole atm.. David Brivio (sp) Rossi's manager is hanging abouts the Yamaha box.

found a link with Superpole, WSS race and both race 1 and 2 full vids and they work in the States

The Super Sport race was cool as hell again. Now to wait for the second Superbike race... Wondering if Spies can do the same thing again.

Well, it wouldn't be a BIG surprice if he does.

The supersport race were by far the better race. To bad the privateers were lacking a bit in top end speed.

It's amazing how Nori's adapted to the Ducati. it's a complete pole apart riding technique form the Haga style that became synonymous with Yamaha. Of course Nori's ridden twins before in WSB, with Aprilia, and the even Renegade Ducati, but I really notice now how he's assumed a smooth flowing approach, using the high mid corner speed which we tend to associate with the Ducati. How different does he look compared to the Haga we all know and love from 2000 on the R7. Towards the end of the race this effortless style characterised by Max and Nori began to look a tad hurried and flustered - while the guy that looks like he's working the hardest in just walked as if he wasn't trying. If Spies wins the Second race today, he's two races off his fellow countryman BBoz and his WSB run of 5 race wins and two consecutive doubles set with the satellite L&M Ducati team. You're right, for a man that betrays little emotion, Haga looked worried. He should be.

Yet again WSS shows why it's the most entertaining series on the planet. How long would this forum be buzzing if that had been a Moto GP race? So happy for Norge getting a superbly deserved maiden win -even if they did play the wrong National Anthem. Good to see the No.18 Jonesy, tribute on the Parkalgar Honda, so sad not to see Craig dueling sideways at the front.

Before the four at the front broke away there was a second separating the top 8 bikes. I love WSS.

Crutchlow was determined to get on the block, - sideways on the Astroturf and saving it on his knee to see off Sofluogu. That's what bike racing is all about, the will to win, man over machine - that's why Cal's the business.

Double.

Ben better slow down or people are going to claim the new Yamaha is the only reason he wins.

Is anyone hoping Nori can find his way back to Yamaha next season. The Duc is a good bike, but I don't think it is his cup of tea. Someone needs to bring Bayliss out of retirement or this could get boring.

As always though, the real test lies ahead during the European leg.

I am glad that was a wsbk race and not a motogp race, otherwise by criteria apparently applicable to motogp races it could be argued that it was boring
<
. A good race for second, admittedly.

Uh Oh, this could be serious. After only 2 events,Spies has turned what is supposed to be the most closely contested series in memory, to boring. Guys, he might just be that good on a Superbike and there is a possibility that his dominance could get boring.Lets wait a couple of more rounds and see what happens.

Today Spies was just out of the league. I can't believe how dominating he already is. It's early to say, but if he keeps that up, he will win the championship with ease.

@Arrabbiata: I agree on the Supersport part. It's very, very entertainging. Atleast as close 125s. And I think there are a couple of very talented guys there who could do well on bigger series too.

I said long before the season started that Spies may bring the AMA to WSBK. So far it looks like this may be true. Next week will be the best test to tell all. As Haga said, its his favorite track and he is going to lay it down there. He also hasn't gone well at Losail for the length of his career so this race may not be as telling as we think. Spies will be in for the test of his life at Valencia IMO. If he can hang on there I think the season may be over.

Haga said Spies won because he is 10 years younger. LMAO

Indeed, Haga hasn't gone well in the past at Losail, so in view of that it was a good day for him. Also worth remembering that Ducati have never gone well here either, I think Bayliss got them one win but other than that it has not been a circuit that has favored the twins in the past.

Not to take anything away from Ben - he was in another league. I've always maintained that Meregali runs a tight ship, and that the Belgarda/Yamaha Italia squad are next to Xerox Ducati, the most sorted in the WSB paddock. This was a great move for Ben, and I think that Yamaha will reciprocate when he delivers the championship to them. His next ride could even have a big eff off Fiat decal adorning the fairing.

Great afternoon's entertainment! Could have show more of the fun going on in the pack from 4th through 10th or so, in the coverage... Good rides by the BMW boys - hope they get that bike dialed in to ten tenths.
