WSBK: Donington Park 2012

I see the incident as 100% Rea.

This is where you appear to be hung up. No Melandri and Rea still goes bowling for beemers IMHO.

More BS in trying to prove your point Jum. All riders make the smallest of mistakes every lap (or every lap would be perfect) to no detrimental effect. Did Marco make a mistake on the final corner of race two? Hell yeah! Did his mistake cause Rea to dissociate with reality and think he was racing on playstation? Hell no! Rea 100% responsible and should have been sanctioned.

Let's use a Jumkism: If Marco had run too deep, as he did, and Rea was not there, just Biaggi and Sykes, would we even be talking about this? Haslam would have won, Biaggi probably pip Marco at the line with Sykes a close fourth. Race over no controversy.

100% Rea.

They all made mistakes during both races, running wide, running off track etc: and that is why production based racing with b list riders " creates" close fender banging racing. You can .... up, and get back in the mix because there is a great chance that the others are going to .... up as well because of their, bikes, and tires limitations, or slow each other down while pack racing and making questionable moves. In GP, the lead bikes are capable of almost metronomic perfect laps for the entire race. You put the best riders in the world, on the best bikes in the world, and your chances of recovering from a .... up is virtually nil. I enjoy both. Like i said earlier, scalpels and chainsaws

please stick to discussing superbikes, this thread is not about justifying processional racing in gps

anybody got any news on lascorz?

edit: just read he is able to breath on his own, talk and remember the accident. he is also regaining feeling in his hands and arms, his legs are numb though.

Brett McCormick @BrettMcCormick6

Recovering awesome! Turns out the neck brace is a good ice breaker with the ladies so that's a bonus

Talpa

Classic stuff, the flammini's have it sorted. Time for some management in the premier class to open their eyes and pull their heads out of the sand. Even Rossi commented on how good the racing was, and how boring Motogp has become on twitter! Interesting.........reminiscent of the late nineties........the rise of the new premier series

if this was in Motogp and Stoner was involved, the thread would be 30 pages long by now..

Awesome races! WSBK showing the way.

V5 Stroker

Rossi made comments on how MotoGP was so boring compared to WSBK

criticism of motogp since rossi isn't a front runner anymore is something you expect out of every talpa post so i don't bother to read them usually.

don't be so pissed because of a little teasing

good to see that mccormick is fine and on his way to recovery, he's becoming quite a likeable guy

I finally got to watch them over the weekend and i'll agree that Rea was the instigator in that incident. I noticed that it wasn't the first 'throw up the inside' he did in the race. He did one to Haslam (I think) earlier in the race, and then at island hairpin he slammed it up the inside of Biaggi. It was only a matter of time before he tagged someone. I have generally liked Rea, but he riding in race 2 especially to me was poor.
