<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;Rossi won't win a single race.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;I can't see a possibility while Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Marques races around. It would take a lot of luck to have these 3 riders out of the way in a single race.

Well, I will stand my opinion.

Mugello

This. Rossi will find a way. I'm hoping Murder Mark is the person he has to get through to get the win. Not so much fireworks as full-scale thermonuclear war.

Stick a fork in him.. He is done.

Probably has been done a while..but covered it up by whinning and lobbying for unequal equipment for Lorenzo. He knew the kid was fast. possibly faster than he is. No most certainly this is true.

Pedrosa is as fast as ever. Marquez is even faster. Lorenzo is just as fast and is laser like consistent.

Rossi win another championship? I don't think so.

I agree he will show well at Mugello, maybe Sepang as well.

I know what you're getting at, and it would be something to behold, but (albeit ony 2 races in) Farquez doesn't seem much of a Murder Mark right now. He's been surprisingly clean.

Let's see how he behaves in the next 2 races....and whether he'll be let off the leash.

Must say that it would be interesting to see if Marky Mark manages to punt Rossifumi off track at some stage? Will be even more interesting to see if Rossi likes being on the receiving end of such treatment?

I can see a touch of yellow in the shadows of the past.

But only dayglo orange in the future.

I think that at the end of the season Rossi will say "It was the other 3 not me".

It really was the other 3.

its looking like Rossi needs MM DP JL All to have the same off day then hope Cal dont pee on his parade.

lets see

Valentino Rossi praised fellow Yamaha rider Cal Crutchlow after the Briton easily beat him to claim a fantastic fourth place finish in the first MotoGP race to be staged at the state-of-the-art Circuit of the Americas (COTA).R
Rossi, who had made a stunning return to Yamaha in Qatar earlier this month to claim second, said the fact that Crutchlow had finished so high up after missing the COTA test was particularly impressive.

The nine-times world champion told MCN: “I expected Jorge to do this because he is the faster rider in a better shape. But Crutchlow rode very well. Jorge was not so far from the Honda but also Crutchlow did a fantastic job without testing and he was better than me.”

I'm surprised to hear a man in your line of work say such a thing!

Most Evil Genius types, including yourself dear Sir, display impeccable manners as they conduct their Evil Operations.

Have faith!  The scorpion is just biding his time, waiting for the prey to stumble a little closer.....

I think he will do well on this favrouite tracks likes of Jerez,Mugello,Sepang,Catalunya,Assen,Germany,Czech Republic,San Marino and PI.

We always do this, then we look back and say that we should never have counted him out.

I don't think he will win another championship, unfortunately for me as a fan.

But, i think he has a few race wins in him

Back in 2010, Rossi already had real trouble keeping up with the other 3 frontrunners in qualifying. It's going to take a lot more risk taking if he wants to start being a real threat. You can't count on winning many races if you have to start from the third row anymore. The current crop will mostly be gone off in the distance by the time he's done passing midfielders.

Mugello is also Ducati/Dovi's home. Until there we'll much probably see a radically new Ducati and a whole team crazy to have a podium/win. Anyway I don't think Rossi will behave much different at Mugello.

I would bet Rossi fighting Dovi to get a podium at Mugello, and the 2 of 3 alien fighting for the top 2.

My line of work? My attempts to destroy Project Mercury failed 50 years ago and resulted in my death. Staring at a million-dollar fish tank gets understandably boring, so GP racing brings something to ease my ennui.

Even my minions are getting doddery now.... the race time beers aren't replaced at an acceptable rate.

I do agree with the scorpion metaphor. I suspect he's been told to take it easy and learn. And if that's his 'take it easy and learn' riding....I am looking forward to him going ape.

Where will the full scale nuclear war play out? On forums as the yellow boppers go absolutely ape .... crazy calling for Jihad!
