Will 2010 MotoGP season be a boring one?

Rossi's recent domination in pre-season tests is one indicative that the season will be as boring as hell (again), since he never goes so fast at that time. Today he was fastest again by a good (or bad, depends on POV) margin.

If he is so quick already, imagine how races will be "fun"
<

I can easily preview a boring 2010 season. I hate this trio Yamaha + Burges + Rossi, it should have been banned from MotoGP.

One can already give the championship title to the "The DULLctor", ban him from MotoGP and start the 2011 season. .... Yamaha + Rossi, go away from MotoGP. He is so hypocrite talking about electronics making motogp boring, but why doesn't he comes to talk something now, once he is practically winning alone by two years? Is race boring only when some rider else win?

Don't you get tired of watch Rossi winning year by year? What's the fun with that?

Last year we had the same potential race winners, and Rossi wins most races, even going slow as turtle at pre-season.

We are going to a point where F1 is more fun and competitive than MotoGP.

Well it does get boring for non-Euro types like us. Mainly because its been such a protected little Dorna Circus, and Rossi is the main attraction. But I think the market emphasis on Europe seems to be drying and Dorna/the Manufacturers are looking elsewhere again.

Rossi's riding style is as boring as concrete to me, I guess thats the worst of it for me.

Who made McCoy look so great ................ Rossi. ( But there was no market in McCoy so not much incentive for the Eurocentric/Spanocentric Dorna to "help" him be there
<
)

But then again not really boring, cos when you think of it if it wasn't for Rossi we would probably never have seen Stoner ....... the fastest rider/racer in MGP history as well as the most "stylish".

What sort of performance would we be seeing from Stoner if it was only say Pedrosa he had to contend with?

No its the fact that Rossi is the benchmark that lets us see such phenomenon.

SO yes it is boring, which the Ago years were kinda ..... but they do show us gems. Eg. Saarinen, Stoner.

Perhaps Rossi has just been a "safe caretaker" in between the more exciting times of GP, but he is a good benchmark.

I do so hope your picks come through, in that order. But. I'm hoping, and I know wishful thinking, it will be V Rossi vs B. Spies. What a great spectacle it would be.

Yeah, I'm sure there is more than we can see inside MotoGP backstage.

Rossi have always been protected by Dorna and their ....... regulations. IMO, it was fun and cool to watch Rossi until 2006. Thereafter, MotoGP became intoxicated by political and economical interests.

I have heard a history where Yamaha is using a satellite guide device to change M1 settings on the fly, fine tuning the bike TC and some other stuff perfectly for each lap stage. I know how crazy that can sound, and although I can't confirm, it's completely possible to achieve that.

If that is true, Rossi is the most hypocrite guy on the world.

No, I didn't, it's so fun I could not miss.

I'm serious. Alonso battled Vettel until last laps and that was good, so much better than watch Rossi opening a 25 seconds gap to Stoner or anyone else @ 2nd.

Oh c'mon, let's avoid turning this thread into another Rossi vs Stoner flame war.

Have you got selective reading problem dude???? did you miss post from BM, he started it.

It doesn't matter who started it, but who will stop it.

Actually I don't know what is the most annoying: to watch Rossi win over 'n over or watch a flame thread about Rossi vs Stoner.

Thanks man!

BTW, what is your opinion about a possible satellite device tuning Yamaha M1 at real time? Do you think it is true?

This is first time i heard about this kind of device so not really in position to say anything but bear in mind these days nothing is impossible.

Hey dimshit - there was a season when he truly opposed the electronics game - result Stoner was WC - now he does better what the others have done since intro of 800 cc - tough .... for the guys who are slower - so just shut the f..k up.
